Day 26: Serpentine
"Crawl your way from the depths of hell."
"Right or left, stay close to the ground."
"Hiss and closely sense what fell."
"Always remember: you're hellbound."
Easy targets, human beings are
Their father's fear is deep instilled
They're told we're filled with mischief,
that we have no loyalty confirmed.
Easy come, easy go.
At our sight, they stand still;
I've spotted them, three in a row,
but in hunting, I just lost the thrill.
I was right around the corner,
when the three parted ways;
one cursed in parseltongue,
and that's where I set my gaze.
"Feel the fear your enemies project,
and hiss in alarm as your poison fill."
My eyes held a brief and silent stare,
before the voice whispered,
"Head for the kill."

A/N; This is probably the latest I've ever been in this challenge, but it's for a good cause!
I've been looking forward to this prompt for a good while (especially after finally watching the Harry Potter series and joining the potterheads lol. As usual I'm always late to the party) , so I wanted to make the best out of it.
