Chapter 2: sleepover party!

Chapter 2:

Rydel's POV:

When me and the boys waited for Beth and Ross to come back, we thought of stuff we can do with everyone. I suggested truth or dare and Ratliff suggested some card games. That's when Bethany and Ross came back.

"Hey guys, we're back!" Bethany said.

"Oh hi! We were just thinking of some stuff we can do later on tonight." I replied.

"Oh awesome. What do you guys have in mind?" Ross asked.

"I thought maybe we can play truth or dare? Later tonight?" I told him.

He nodded and looked over at Beth. She smiled and nodded.

"Why don't we watch a couple of movies now?" Riker suggested.

"Sounds good." Ross said.

After about 2 movies, it was 5:30pm and mom had just finished preparing our dinner.

After about 30 minutes, when we were done eating, we went upstairs into my room since it was the cleanest and biggest.

"What are we gonna do now?" Ratliff asked.

"Why don't we just go back downstairs and play a video game or something?" Rocky said.

"Alright. Sounds fun! Let's go." Beth said back, smiling.

Bethany's POV:

After we went downstairs, played some video games, we went back upstairs into Delly's room. It was 8:30pm and we still had a couple of hours before going to bed. Since Ratliff suggested some card games earlier, we decided to play some. After about half an hour, it was 9:00pm, Rydel asked:

"Can we play truth or dare now?"

"Yeah, yeah. Who wants to go first?" Ross replied.

"Um, sorry, I don't really feel like playing. Also, mom wanted me and Riker to help her with something." Rocky told us.

Rocky & Riker got up and left. It was just me, Rydel, Ross and Ratliff.

"Oh... By the way, Beth, the air mattress that you normally slept on, popped a few days ago..." Rydel said.

"Oh, um, where will I sleep then?" I asked.

"Well, Ratliff is gonna sleep on the couch, my beds too small, Riker and Rocky already share a room and I don't think they'll want you in there room, sooo Ross? Do you think you have enough room in your bed for beth?" Rydel told Ross.

Ross' POV:

"Uhhhh.... Yeah probably. I don't move much, so it shouldn't be a problem." I Replied.

"Although, it might be a little awkward" Ratliff said.

"Eh, not really. At summer camp a few years ago, we had to share a bed for a whole month! One night won't be that awkward." Beth assured.

"Alright! Can we play truth or dare?" Rydel begged.

"Fine. You first." Ratliff said.

"Okay! Ross, truth or dare?" She replied.

"Um... Truth." I said, a little nervous.

"Okay.... First girl you had a crush on?" Rydel asked.

"Uhhh.... To be honest, probably.... Umm you, Beth. Haha. I had a little crush on you in first grade for a bit. But now I'm over it, obviously." I answered, smiling.

"Oh haha! I didn't even know that!" Beth said back, laughing.

After about an hour of playing truth or dare, Bethany yawned and said:

"Guys, it's 10:00pm and I'm really tired. I think we should get going to bed."

"yeah... I know Riker & Rocky are already gone to bed. So, goodnight! See you guys in the morning." Rydel replied.

Ratliff went downstairs since he was sleeping on the couch, Rydel stayed in her room and went to bed and Beth and I went over to my room.

After she changed and we were finally in bed, I said:

"Goodnight Bethany." And smiled.

"Goodnight Ross, haha" she replied and almost instantly fell asleep.

I don't know why, but I felt a little awkward. I know we've already shared a bed before, but this time it felt more awkward.
