Chapter 22: What will i say?

Bethany's POV:

"Will you go out with me?" Brad asked, nervously.

Oh my.

What am I suppose to say?

"Sure!" I blurted out, without really thinking about it.

He suddenly looked really relieved.

"Oh, great!" He replied.

"So, when?"

"Hmmm how about this Friday?"

"Yeah, sure." I answered.

"Great! I'll pick you up at 5:30pm."

"Sounds good!" I said, smiling.

After that, we just talked until he had to go. He finally left, and I went into my room.

I can't believe I said sure so quickly...

What am I gonna do if Ross finds out? I mean, I don't have feelings for Brad. I just couldn't say no...

That's when my thoughts were interrupted by my phone ringing.

I saw it was Ross, but to be honest, I really didn't wanna talk right now.

I still picked up the phone, though.

"Hey, Beth!" Ross said, sounding really happy.

"Hey, Ross." I answered.

"...what's wrong?"

I'm pretty sure he could tell something wasn't right.

"Nothing! I'm just tired, haha. So, what are you doing?" I replied, changing the subject.

"Okay. And I'm just chilling with everyone in the bus. Wait one second... Do you mind if I put you on speaker?" He asked.

"No, go ahead."

"HEY!" Everyone from R5 shouted.

"How are you?!" Rydel said.

"I'm great, thanks."

After talking for about 15 minutes, my mom called me to come downstairs for something.

"Look, sorry guys, I gotta go. When's your next day off?"

"Uhhh this Friday." Ratliff replied.

I frowned. I was going out with Brad that day... I wouldn't be able to talk to them, and of course, they'd wonder where I was.

"Oh, okay. I'll call you if I can. Bye!" I said quickly, then hung up.

I sat there on my bed, staring at the wall... Hopefully, they wouldn't ask if I was busy Friday...

I ran downstairs to go see what my mom needed, and then came back upstairs.

I heard my phone beep which meant I had gotten a text.

Rydel: hey! I know your busy, but we just wanted to say we can talk on Friday at 5:00pm :) hopefully you'll be able to talk!

Without thinking, I quickly replied:

Me: yay sure! I can talk at 5:00pm. But I can't talk right now, haha. bye delly! (Ps; tell everyone I say goodnight! Hehe)

Then I turned off my phone.

What have I gotten my self into?
