Jack's POV

I woke up to the sounds of chatter in the kitchen. I sat in my bed, rubbing my eyes before stretching my arms out. I stood up and walked calmly down the hallway and down the stairs of my family mansion.

"Good Morning Emma." I said softly.

I touched the painting of my little sister. It had been almost 5 years since she disappeared from our home. My parents, of course, had already lost hope, but I was still determined she was out there. I resumed walking and entered my family's kitchen.

"Morning Mom," I said with a small smile.

"Morning sweetie." she replied.

"Morning to you to dad"

He looked up to me and nodded his head in acknowledgement. Ever since Emma disappeared, he has never really been the same. He is always somewhat moody and never likes doing things we used to do. I can't blame him though, he is the one that blames himself for Emma's disappearance. That's a story for another time though.

"You excited for the first day of school?" my mom asked me while setting a plate of eggs and bacon in front of my seat.

"I guess you could say that," I replied.

School was never a big deal to me. I got average marks, (even though I missed like all my classes) I was popular, I got girls literally hanging on to me for dear life... except for one.

Elsa Arendelle.

She had always been the one and only girl who has ever ignored my tricks and charms. Her friends, (even if they won't admit it) all had a crush on me at one point, before giving up. My father isn't really proud of my reputation, but he really doesn't care, unless I get into drugs.

"You know," my mother started. "In a few days, it'll be your 17th birthday."

I almost choked on my breakfast.

'oh crud, I have to deal with this tattoo thing.'

"oh, uh, haha I guess I kinda forgot about that." I said rubbing the back of my neck.

My mother had her tattoo on her ankle. 'T.F.' for Thomas Frost. The font resembled frost and was completely white. It had a blue border so you could actually see the initials. My father's tattoo was also on his ankle with the initials E.N. for Emily Nordwind. The font was very curly almost resembling cartoon wind and the colour was a bright cyan, like my mothers eyes.

I quickly finished eating my breakfast before I went back to my room to freshen myself up a bit. I brushed my teeth, took a quick shower, then headed to my closet.

"Hmmm... what to wear today?" I mumbled to myself.

I grabbed a white t-shirt, black jeans and a black leather jacket. I threw on my black Doc Marten boots and I grabbed a bit of cologne. After I ruffled my hair a bit to make it a bit messy I then proceeded to compile my belongings into my bag before making my way out the door. Yes, I could've gone with my dad, but I'd rather not, he would kill my vibe.

"Hey Eugene!" I yelled.

"Frosty!" he shouted back.

We gave each other a bro hug before catching up on our summer breaks. As soon as we entered the school, a swarm of girls ran towards me. They were all asking me about if I was still single, or asking if I could sign a poster of myself. I did a bit of modelling here and there for my mothers fashion company, but I really didn't think about it much.

Then a few more girls walked towards me and Eugene and started saying things like;

"My name is Hannah Short just incase my initials show up on you!" or
