Chapter 12

Hiccup's POV:

"Hey Merida, thanks for that help during P.E. I really do suck at archery."

"Aye, no problem, ye wee lass." (Im sorry I don't know how to do a Scottish accent)

We laughed for a bit when suddenly I saw Astrid in the hallway standing next to Elsa.

Man... she was absolutely stunning. Even with her viking styled shirt and shoulder pads, she looked heavenly.

At that exact moment, Merida grabbed my hand and I snapped out of my little 'Astrid induced trance.'

"Hey Hic, you okay?" Merida asked while gripping my hand tighter.

"Yeah, I am, thanks Mer." 

I then slowly slipped my hand out of hers while we continued walking.

We smiled and waved at each other before parting ways. I had art for my last period class and was not really excited. Art was probably one of my weakest subjects. When I entered the classroom I took my seat near the back of the class before opening up my art journal. I was doodling a black dragon with glowing emerald green eyes and a glowing purple substance shooting out of his mouth. I was close to being done when I heard a very angry Elsa at the entrance of the classroom. It was still early and not a lot of student were there which worried me.

"Hiccup Horrendous Haddock the III how dare you!?" She yelled at me.

"W-What did I do?" I said genuinely confused about how I messed up.

"Why the hell were you holding hands with Merida! Especially infront of Astrid! Do you know how much you hurt her?!" She yelled but quickly covered her mouth.

'What did she mean I hurt her?'

"What do you mean Els?" I asked.

"Forget what I just said. But anyways, what happened to your crush on Astrid?" she said in an unusually loud tone.

"SHHHH!" I said while covering her mouth. "Don't say that so loudly!" I whisper-yelled.

She then stuck out her tongue and licked my hand.

"EW EW EW EW ELSSAAAA! WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT?!" I yelled at her catching the attention of more students.

Elsa however ignored everyone and sat down next to me in sulking sort of manner.

"C'mon Els, just talk to me."

"Not until you answer my question, What happened to your crush on Astrid?" She asked.

I cupped my hand around her ear saying,

"I still do have a crush on Astrid, in fact I think I love her." I said while madly blushing.

Elsa immediately engulfed me into a hug before whispering in my ear.

"Then why were you holding hands with Merida?" She sounded like she would murder me if I didn't answer like she wanted me too.

"Don't worry Elsa. Merida just grabbed my hand to wake me up because I guess I was sort of in an 'Astrid induced trance'"I said while making air quotes.

She just giggled and said that I should be more careful around her. 

Astrid's POV:

Last period was hell. I was partners with the curly red head for a project, and the entire time she would not shut up about how much she liked Hiccup. She kept saying that 

'He was the first boy who she had ever really liked.'

and how she wanted to confess to him soon.
