Chapter 29

~One week later~

Elsas' POV:

"ELSIE! ELSIE!"

I groaned, and looked at my alarm clock.

'Who the hell is yelling at 5 in the morning?' I thought in my head.

Then I smelled something...burning?

I jumped out of bed and ran into the kitchen.

"Anna! What's burning?!" I yelled.

"Happy Birthday!" Anna yelled from behind me.

"Ahh!" I yelled and fell down.

"Opps! Sorry Elsie." she said, handing me a hand.

I took it and stood up seeing breakfast fully made and a small birthday cake in the middle of the table.

"Oh Anna!" I said, almost tearing up.

"This is wonderful!" I said while hugging her.

"Anything for my big sister." She said while hugging me.

"Let's dig in then!" I shouted.

She scrambled and grabbed a few candles and a lighter.

"Happy Birthday to you! Happy Birthday to you! Happy birthday dear Elsie! Happy Birthday to you!" Anna sang.

I blew out my candles and we dug in.

"Sho, Elshie, wha das yoor daddoo shay?"

I giggled while Anna tried to talk with her mouth full.

"Try again?" I asked while slowly chewing my food.

She swallowed and drank some orange juice before saying, in a much clearer voice.

"What does your tattoo say?"

I giggled.

"I haven't checked yet." I said while sipping on my coffee.

"WHAT!?" Anna yelled at me.

"Jeez, Anna calm down, I want to try enjoy my time being free for a few more minutes before my life changes forever."

"Well... when you put it like that." she said while pouting.

I giggled at her childish behaviour.

I got up and washed my plate, I went to my bed and collapsed.

My mind kept going back to last week.

~Last Week~

"J-Jack, G-go g-get As-Astrid!"

He looked at me in horror.

I tried to look down, and saw that I was losing control.

"G-GO GET HER!" I yelled while shivering.

He quickly pulled out his phone and started running.

I should probably start holding onto those antidotes.

Within minutes, Jack was back and saying that Astrid would be here in a few minutes.

I nodded slowly grasping onto myself.

I was on my knees, shivering. I couldn't feel the bottom part of my body and I was slowly losing feeling in my fingers and hands.

Jack rushed over to me.

"W-What do I do?" He asked shaking slightly.

I could only snarl at him.

"Go Away!" I managed to say while holding myself tighter.
