Jacks' POV:
'Beep, Beep, Beep, Beep."
What the hell I thought in my head as I groaned. I opened my eyes to see only white.
'Where the hell am I?' I asked myself.
I looked down at my arm to see a random tube sticking out of me.
'What is this?' I wondered tugging at it slightly.
I whimpered when I tried tugging it, it really didn't want to come out. I then realized there was some sort of plasticy thing on my face and I pulled it off. I threw it beside me and rubbed my face.
'What happened?' I asked myself.
Just then someone wearing a white coat and dark blue scrubs came into the room.
"Look who's awake." a male voice said.
I looked at him confused and he just chuckled slightly,
"Hi I'm Dr. Karev, I am the pediatric doctor here at Grey-Sloan Memorial." (SHOUT OUT TO MY GREYS FANS!!)
He held his hand out and I shook it.
"Hi, I am Jack," I looked around the room once more before asking in a groggy voice "What happened?"
"Well, it seems that you have just passed out after experiencing some pain from your collar bone."
"Huh," was all I could say.
"How are you feeling now?" he asked while writing down something on his note pad.
"I am feeling okay, but, um, is my mother here?" I asked cautiously.
"Yes, she just left a few minutes ago to get breakfast, but I couldn't help but ask,"
He said eyeing my collar bone.
"When you came into the E.R. yesterday night, you kept murmuring about someone named Emma."
I looked down.
"Is there anything that you want to get off your chest?" He asked while sitting down on the bed.
"She's, um, my sister." I said trying to hide the pain.
"Ok, good to know." Dr. Karev said while patting me on the back.
I then noticed he was staring at my collar bone.
"I see you have found my tattoo?" I asked and he just looked at me with a small smile.
"You know Jack," He started, "I have seen this before."
I looked at him shocked.
"You mean, there are others that have symbols instead of initials?"
He nodded and proceeded.
"It is extremely rare to have some sort of symbol instead of initials, but there is a perfectly good explanation for it."
"What is it?" I asked hopeful.
"In the two cases this has happened, the victims had lost their memories, and the symbol meant something to persons soulmate before they lost their memory."
"Hold up," I stopped him. "Are you saying I lost my childhood memories?"
He nodded and I looked at him in shock.
Come to think of it, I don't really remember anything that happened before I was nine years old.
I touched my collar bone and the pain started again. It felt like someone had gasoline and traced every single snowflake, then set it on fire.
