Chapter 16

Elsa's POV:

When we were talking about Punzie, I couldn't help but feel that if I were in her position, I would probably do the same thing. I would do anything to not lose the one I held close to my heart. After the group dispersed, Anna, Astrid and I walked back to my place. 

"I can't believe I'm saying this, but I feel bad for Punzie." 

The girls looked at me only to nod. 

"Yeah, she must be under a ton of pressure right now..." Astrid replied.

After we completed some of our homework, we decided we should just confront Punzie tomorrow about the matter. The rest of the night was pretty boring, but something did happen that made that night quite memorable.

"Elsie! Can you go check the mailbox for the mail?" Anna yelled.

"Sure, hold on one sec!" I shouted back.

After I was done slipping on a hoodie, I went and jogged to the mailbox. When I opened it, there was only a single letter, addressed to Anna and a key. I took the letter and the key and locked the mailbox. I then took the key and opened up the parcel compartment. Inside was a brown moderately sized cardboard box, also addressed to Anna. I shrugged my shoulders and headed back home. When I got home, however, I was surprised to be greeted with sobs. I started panicking and running around like a crazy woman.

"ANNA! ANNA WHERE ARE YOU?!" 

I finally found, crouched in a small corner beside our grand piano. She was sobbing so hard while clutching onto her phone for dear life.

"Anna, calm down, what happened?" I tried to soothe her.

She couldn't say anything so I just embraced her until she stopped crying. She eventually passed out and I carried her up to her room. 

What happened to her? I wondered to myself.

I looked at the letter and parcel on the counter, and just stared at it. Something was pulling me towards it, but I knew that I shouldn't open it cause it wasn't addressed to me. I slowly walked away and into my room. I laid down in my bed when I  heard my phone vibrate. I grabbed my phone and saw a text from our group chat.

H: Everyone come to school 20 minutes early and meet me behind the school.

I stared at my phone.

Odd...

Hiccup never texts after 10. This must be pretty urgent. I went to sleep and had that same stupid dream.

Third Person POV:

"Elsa! What do we do?"

She looked down at the cracking ice.

"Jack! I can't use my powers! If I do, we might fall in, but if I don't..."

Tears were streaming down the 2 eight year olds faces. The ice kept cracking and that only made the tears fall faster.

"Jack..." Elsa said to her best friend.

"Y-Yeah Els?" He said while trying to control his emotions.

"I-If we don't make to out of here alive..."

"NO! Elsa you can't talk like that!" Jack yelled.

"I just want to tell you that you are my best friend, and...I love you."

Jack turned towards Elsa and smiled.

"I-I love you too Els, you're my best friend."

Jack's expression suddenly turned cold.
