Chapter 20

Hiccups' POV:

It's my birthday today!

In a few weeks its Elsa's and I can't wait to know who our soulmates are.

I sighed dreamingly hoping that a certain blondes initials were on my body.

I rolled out of my bed and was greeted with my black cat, Toothless.

"hey boy!" I said while petting his head.

He just purred and started pushing his paws into my bedding, circling around, then plopping down and started napping.

I chuckled, Toothless was probably one of the laziest cats in the world.

I walked to my bathroom and started searching for my tattoo.

"Wow..." I said while looking at my wrist.

It was the initials

"A.H."

The initials were a cool grey with the 'H' looking kinda like an axe.

"could it be?" I said out loud.

"Could it be Astrid?"

I started jumping up and down with excitement.

"Oh My God! Oh My God!"

I tried rubbing it off, and it didn't look like it was going anywhere.

"YES! YES! YES!" I screamed.

My mother then walked through my door.

"Hey Hiccup, Happy Birthday!" she said while smiling.

"Thanks Mom." I said trying to slow down my pounding heartbeat.

"Hey Happy Birthday Hic!" Daggur said with excitement.

I then smirked and flashed him my tattoo.

He stood there shocked and just nodded his head slowly, trying to comprehend what this meant.

I got dressed for school after eating my mother's amazing breakfast.

I was going to tell the entire school that Astrid and I were together and I was so excited that she and I would end up together.

"But are you sure it's her?" a small voice in my head asked.

"Yeah! who else could it be?" I responded to the voice.

"What about Ashley Hale? Or Annie Hickerman?" the voice responded.

"Okay but why wouldn't Astrid show you her tattoo then?"

I thought about it for a second before answering

"Maybe she wanted it to be a surprise!"

The voice rebutted almost seconds later.

"What about Merida?"

I froze and stopped what I was doing.

'Shit. Rumour has it that she has a giant crush on me.'

"Well if Merida and I weren't meant to be, then obviously, she will get over the fact quickly."

The voice disappeared and I tried to forget about all of the terrible things that have happened in our life so far and am just trying to enjoy my birthday.I walked to school and was approached by Kristoff and the Arendelle sisters.

"Hey Hic happy Birthday!" Elsa shouted while giving me a big hug.

I will admit, before I liked Astrid, I had a small, itty bitty crush on Elsa.
