Yeri's POV
I flinched at the vocal coach's harsh tone. I'd never heard her talk like that to anyone before, and I wasn't surprised when Y/n had to leave the room. She just... wasn't that strong. Obviously in a good way.
The door slammed shut because there was no one there to close it properly and the room was left in a shocked silence. The vocal coach tried to act as if she were disappointed in Y/n and fed up, by sighing and looking through papers, but I think we all knew she felt guilty. Y/n is such a pure soul - she'd never hurt a thing, and she always does try her best, so if anyone hurts her, they don't feel good about it afterwards. I broke the cold atmosphere.
"I'll go and see if she's okay." I said.
"No you won't!" she said suddenly, putting down the papers. "She chose to walk out like that."
"But she didn't choose to mess up." I shot at her before exiting the room.
Y/n was nowhere to be seen in the corridors. I asked passing manager unnies and oppas whether they's seen her, but the answer was always no. I had to stop and think like Y/n. Where would she feel safe? Of course...
Down, down, down, the staircase to the underground floor kept going on and on. When we were trainees, we used to be scared of it, but now I was practically a respected adult, I wasn't in the slightest. A cobweb brushed my hand. I shivered, of the cold, definitely not of fear. It wasn't long until I reached the store closet, for the practicing studio next door. The door was slightly ajar, so I pushed it and found a trembling bundle on the floor that was Y/n. However, she wasn't how I expected her. She was clutching a stuffed bunny, but I could tell what had just happened to it.
"Oh, no Y/n. You're not usually like this!" I cried, and dropped, about to hug her before remembering. It wasn't often that Y/n was angry, but when she was, it wasn't like anything you could ever imagine. I was scared of her like this, a couple of years ago. She had been struggling with the dance and I had teased her. It was something I regretted to this day.
Y/n's face was light pink, so I could tell she was calming down. She hugged her bunny, wishing it to be fixed, but it wouldn't work, and she knew that. I inched closer, hoping I wouldn't have to run. She collapsed into me, all effort and rage gone that had stopped her from crying before. I definitely wasn't used to this, as I usually depend on the older members to look after me. Now I was an unnie, I'd have to.
It took a few minutes but eventually she just lay there, hugging herself.
Y/n's POV
I felt so weak because Yeri had come to find me. I'm glad she did though, as no one else knows about this. After it was all over, I thought and thought and thought about what I had done. How were I to go back? And my poor bunny! Its head had almost completely come off! When it happened, I never felt like it was me controlling what I did, but some big angry monster capable of destroying buildings. I felt vulnerable, and just wanted to run away from this place, and keep on running. I didn't know how I would face the others.
At that moment, I just needed to tell Yeri. Sitting up, I turned to her and leaned closer to whisper. Her eyes widened and she hugged me. I needed that.
I don't know what I just wrote but I hope it makes some sense! Also, please leave some suggestions if you can because I'm happy to write what you would want to read and xxxxxxxxxx
