Its around 9:30 when we return to the school. This time Mickey is there to. "Oh, it's weird seeing school at night." Rose says from behind me. "Yeah its kind of creepy, I wonder if the teachers sleep here, thats what I use to think when I was little." We all stand near the stairs. "Fine, team. Oh I hate people who say "team". Um..Gang. Um...Comrades. Uh... Anyway. Rose go to the kitchen and get a sample of that oil. Mickey, the new staff are all math teachers. Go and check out the maths department. Eli and I are going to go look in Finch's office." The Doctor instructs as he starts running up the stairs. "Meet back here in 10 minutes." I fallow shortly behind him. We get near Finchs office when we hear a screeching noise. We both stop and get behind the Doctor. We then keep going forward. "I dont like the sound of that." I whisper to him. He grabs my hand as we keep walking. We walk into a dark room and spot Sarah Jane. She walks into the room where the TARDIS is at then slowly back out. She slowly turns around and she spots the Doctor and I. "Hello Sarah Jane." The Doctor says softly with a smile. "It's you, both of you." She breaths out with a smile growing on her face. "Doctor, oh Doctor and Eli! Oh, my god, it's you isnt it?" Sarah starts to walk twoards us with teers in her eyes. "You've regenerated." She says to the Doctor she then looks to me. "I thought I recgonized you but I didnt want to jump and make conclusions." I smile and nod my head "Yeah, half a dozen times since we last met." The Doctor confirms for her. "You look...incredable, both of you." I blush slightly, "so do you." The Doctor replies back to her. "mnh-mnh. I got old." I make a pshh sound twoards her. "Nah you look good girl." I reasure her so she doenst be a debby downer. "What are you doing here?" Sarah asks suddenly, "Well.... A ufo sighting a school gets record results." I continue "we couldn't resist. What about you?" I ask with a smile "Same." So... I start while biting my lip. "Well how's my bestie?" I ask the last part being the major question. She suprises me by walking over to me and dragging me into a tight hug. "I was hoping you'd remember!" Welll.... I drag well like the Doctor did. "This is actually the first time i've met you, but i've seen I was there for every incarnation of him." I pause and point at the Doctor. "Plus he said we we're best friends back when so decided i'd test it. So glad we are." I finish while giving her another hug. "I thought you both died, you didnt come back." I can tell she's crying now. "I thought you must have died!" I give her a reasuring look. "I lived, when I died." I hear the Doctor explain behind me. "what do you mean?" Sarah questions him. "Everyone died, Sarah. Except for Eli I protected her, she almost did. She almost had to regenerate." I looked back in shock, in the show everyone died how was that possible. "I can't believe it's you two." Sarah says again. A girlish scream echos through out the room. "Okay! Now I can!" She says with a giant smile. We all go running out and end up where we started and run into Rose. "OH!" All four of us say at the same time. "Did you hear that?" Rose questions catching her breath. "Who's she?" Rose asks while eyeing Sarah. "Rose, Sarah Jane, Sarah Jane,Rose." Rose looks unsure as she glances at me concerned. "Hi, nice to meet you." Sarah says while offering her hand to shake to Rose. "You can tell you're getting old, your assistants are getting younger." Rose scoffs at this. "I'm not his assistant." Alls Sarah could say after that is "oh." The Doctor goes ahead then Sarah Jane, I loop my arm through Rose's and we walk together. We get to the source and Mickey is picking up vacum sealed rats. "Sorry. Sorry, it was only me. You told me to investigate. So, uh, I started looking through some of these cupboards, and all of these fell out on me." I cant help but laugh at him. "Oh my god, they're rats, dozens of rats. Vaumed packed rats." Rose says disgusted. "And you decided to scream?" The Doctor teses Mickey. "It took me by suprise!" MIckey defended himself. "Like a little girl?" I was trying to hide my gigles. "I was covered in rats!" MIckey shoots back at the Doctor. "9 maybe 10 years old. I'm seeing pigtails, frilly skirt." Rose cuts in, "hello can we focus? Does anyone notice anything starnge about this? Rats in school." You could cut the tension between Sarah and Rose with a knife. "Well obviosly they use them in bioligy lessons. They dissect them. Or perhaps you havent reached that bit yet. How old are you?" I groan inside and just roll my eyes. "Excuse me. No one dissects rats in school anymore. They havent done that in years. Where are you from, the dark ages?" Rose snaps back at her. I decide to butt in "anyway! Moving on." I say loudly for them to hear. "Everything started when mr. Finch arrived, so lets check out his office." The Doctor instructs. I walk by and the Doctor grabs my hand. "Excuse me I dont mean to be rude or anything, but who exatcly are you?" Rose asks with a fake smile as she passes the Dcotor and I. "Sarah Jane Smith. I use to travel with Eli and the Doctor." I start to mess with the Doctors fingers aimlessly. "You okay?" He whispers down to me and they continue to argue. "No I dont like it when people fight like this." We return our attention to them. "Oh, well they've never mentioned you." Sarah gives us a glance. "In my deffense this is the first time i've met her, I bounce around to much, never in the right order." I defend myself Rose turns and gives me a small smile. "I'm sure i've mentioned Sarah Jane I must have all the time." The Doctor tries to dig himself out. "Hold on...sorry never." I turn to Mickey who just puts his hands up like -dont drag me into it-. "Not even once? Every, he didnt mention me once?" The last once sounds sad as they walk away infront of us. "Great! Current bestfriend and ex-bestfriend, hate to be you Eli. Or even you Doctor." Mickey snikers as he walks past us. Once we reach finchs office the Doctor uses his sonic screwdriver. "Maybe those rats were food." The door opens with a soft click. "Food for what?" Rose questions from behind me. "You know how we said that we thought teachers slept in school?" I whisper twoards Rose, she nods her head. "Well they do." She glances in the office and she sees that these bat things, which were the teachers mind you, asleep on the celing. "No way!" Mickey exclaims and high tails it outside the school as fast as he could. We go after him as the Doctor closes the door softly. Once we get outside Mickey makes a pledge of never going in there again. "Those were teachers." Rose says while panting. "When Finch arrived he brought them with him, seven new teachers, four dinner ladies, and a nurse." I continue for him, "that's 13, 13 big bat people. Come on." I say while turning around to go into the school. "Come on?" I hear people exasperate behind me. "You've got to be kidding!" Mickey says as Rose begins to fallow the Doctor and I. "We need the TARDIS to scan the oil from the kitchen Mick." I explain to him as I turn around once again. "I might beable to help you there. There's somthing I want to show you both." She grabs the Doctors and I arms and escort her to her car. She lifts up the back and lifts up a sheet. "Whats that?" I ask as the sheet is removed. "K-9!" The Doctor and I both exclaim. "Rose Tyler, Mickey Smith, allow me to introduce K-9." I cough to interupt, "well, K-9 mart 3 to be percise." Its beat up and old but whats to be expected. "Why does it look so...disco?" Rose makes a face twoards the robot dog. "Oi, listen in the year 5,000 this was cutting edge." The Doctor defends I just roll my eyes. "So what happened SJ?" I ask while looping my arm with Rose so she doesnt feel left out. "One day, he just...nothing." I frown "what did the mean lady do to you?" The Doctor start to pet the robot dog."Well it isnt like she could go and get it fixed, for obvious reasons Doctor." I turn to Rose, "are you okay Rosie Posie?" I asked concern evident in my voice. "Nothing, just its her. Hey can you two stop petting for a minute?" She shouts back at the Doctor and Sarah. "You know you're my number one bestie right, more then that we're sisters." I get her to smile then she quickly hides it. "I sawww that!" i said in a sing song voice. "DId not." Did to. "Did not. okay you did." I smile smugly as we all pile into Sarah Janes car. We go to a local chip shop and Sarah and the Doctor work on K-9. I stand at the counter with Rose. "Arnt you worried?" She asks me as I pay for my chips. "No apperently her and I were best friends." I look to them for some reason still feeling slightly jelous. "But I cant help but to feel a small twinge of jelousy. But she knows that me and him are, and apprently ive been there all of his incarnations." I explain as we sit at a table. "Well the truth is, he is like everyother bloke." Mickey says while sitting down. "I dont know what you're talking about, that man is far from normal." I say with a small sigh while looking twoards him. "Gah i'd go over there but a part of me feels that I would disturb them." I grumbled to both of them. "I think I should trust her and give her the benefit of the doubt. The DOCTOR said that we were best friends but why do I feel this way. I mean when she realized it was us she gave me a bone crushing hug." I steal a sip of Roses drink. "Ah now we're in business! Rose the oil." The Doctor calls out to us, I stand and I grab the oil from Rose before walking to the Doctor. I hesitate but I stand next to him and he takes the oil. While not looking at me. "Uhh thnaks." What the hell does that mean. "Welcome." I say coldly I get a look of suprise from him. "Oh Eli I didnt know it was you." Sure he didnt, "Sure you didnt." I snap back at him, I see Sarah looking at me with concern. "Are you alright?" Sarah asks me as the Doctor unscrews the lid on the oil, he was about to stick his finger in when Rose stops him. "Wait, the lunch lady got that spilled on her, and it scorched her." He sticks his finer in to get a sample. "Its fine, i'm not a dinner lady, I dont say that often." I couldnt help it but I gigled at that. "There she is!" The Doctor beams at me. He puts the oil on a little plunger thing on K-9's face. It studderd as it began to process it. "Check out that voice!" Mickey says through giggles. "Watch it thats my dog." Sarah snaps back at him. Once it finaly did the resaults were startling to them but I knew. "substance is Krillitane oil." K-9 gets out and Rose looks curious. "They're Krillitanes." The Doctor and I say at the same time. "Is that bad?" I nod my head, "yeah verry. Just think about another suitcase full of bad." I explain to everyone. "So what are Krillitanes?" Evryone looks to the Doctor and I. "They're a composite race,just like your culture is a mixture of traditions from all sorts of countries." The Doctor continues for me. "People invaded or have been invaded by. You've got bits of, bits of viking, bits of france. The Krillitanes are exactly the same. An amalgam of the races they've conquered, but they take physical aspects as well. They cherry pick the best bits from the people they destroy. That's why there here, the last time we saw Krillitanes, they looked like us except they had really long necks. That's why we didnt recgonize them." I just shake my head in annoyance. "Why are they here?" Rose asks concerned "Its the children." I say in a dark tone. "They're doing somthing to the children!" I feel the Doctor put his hand on my shoulder. "Its going to be okay, we'll get everything sorted out. I promise." I nod my head as K-9 moves its little head looking over to me. "MIstress!" He said in a happy sounding robotic voice. "He recgnoizes me?" I look at the Doctor for explination. "Well yeah who do you think help build him!" I probably did most of the building. I walked to Sarahs car along wtih Mickey and Sarah. Rose and the Doctor behind us. "Um Sarah." I get her attention. "I'm gonna be completly honest with you. The first time I met you, at the school. I was sort of jelous of you, considering how he was all giddy. I'm really sorry for feeling this way, even in the shop when you two were fixing K-9 togetehr I was contemplating the jelousy again." Sarah just simply hugs me before she speaks. "Oh its quite alright dear. I know I would of felt the same way if I was in your shoes. Dont worry about it." I smile as Rose and the Doctor huff over to us. "Whats wrong, what you talk about?" I whisper to Rose. "Nothing important really, just the feelings you expressed in the chip shop is all." I groaned at her then look at the Doctor. "I talked to Sarah everythings fine, Rose I know you're jelous of her." I give her a hug to reasure her everythings fine. I pull the Doctor aside to talk to him. "Do you really feel jelous of Sarah?" He asks before I could get a word out. "No I talked about my feelings with her just now, eveythings fine, she said and I quote "Oh its quite alright dear. I know I woulf of felt the same way if I was in your shoes. Dont worry about it." so everything is fine love I promise." I say while I start to play with his hair some. "Okay, because I want you to know, you never have to worry about losing me. Never." The Doctors arms wrap around my waist as we just stare into eachothers eyes. "I love you Doctor." That was the first time i've said it outloud like this. "I love you to Eli." My hearts fluttered in my chest as he said it back. We were inchs apart when a bat thing started to fly over head and threatened to dive at me and the Doctor. Next thing I know he pulls me behind the car we were standing by he gets ontop of me. "Um Doctor I dont think it was going to dive." I say as he leans on his elbows above me. I see a smirk on his lips as the others come running saying what I just said. "But better question why did it do that in the first place?" I see the Doctor look up at the roof and see Finch looking down at us.
