Mika Reyes

"Daks!!! Ang ganda mo!!!" Ara screamed so loud the moment I stepped out of the dressing room wearing my bridal gown.

"Bagay ba?" I shyly asked them. I'm with Ara, Cienne, Camille, Jessey, Aly, Denden, Billie, Laura and the Lings.

"OO NAMAN!" They replied and giggled. I turned towards the mirror and that's where I froze seeing my own reflection. So this is what it feels like to be the bride. Tears began forming in my eyes.

"Bf, wag kang um-emote dyan! Sayang make up oh, ganda!" Jessey hugged me.

"Bf naman kasi eh!! Di naman ako na-inform na ganito pala feeling ng ikakasal!" I joked and Denden said, "Sorry Ye, di kita nasabihan ha?" Just so you know, Denden is already married to LA.

"Nasaan na ba sila ate Aby at ate Cheps? Sabi nila pupunta sila." I asked Camille.

"Magkasabay yun for sure. Wait mo lang." Camille replied.

"Oh, tumatawag na yata si Mr. Ravena." Cienne handed me my phone ringing.

"Hello, Kief?" I answered and he was on the  other line.

"Miks, you ready?"

"Yeah. I'm done, ikaw?"

"I can't wait to see my bride later." His voice lingered into me and made my heart skipped a beat. Halata yatang kinilig ako that's why the other girls squealed.

"Sige na, the photographer's here. We still need to take pictures with my family." I hung up. The photographer called me for few shots with my family then right after that, with my entourage.

"Miss Mika, are you now ready?" It was Bea, our Wedding Coordinator.

"Ready as I'll ever be." I held my bouquet tighter as I took a deep breath. Eto na 'to, Mika. Wala ng atrasan 'to.

"Daks, good luck mamaya ha!" Ara said before all of them left the room.

The staff and the wedding coordinator helped me get inside the bridal car. I'm with my mom and dad inside it.

"Ma, kinakabahan ako." My hands were sweating and I can feel as if my whole body turned into jelly.

"Wag mong sabihin ngayon ka pa aatras!" I  laughed with my mom, para di ako  masyadong kabahan.

"We're here." Dad said as he opened the door of the car. They instructed me that I will just wait inside the car before I march down the aisle.

"Are you nervous?" Dad patted one of my shoulders then I quivered in shock.

"Y-yes Dad." He just gave me an assuring smile and said, "There she is." I slowly looked at the doorway of the church. It opened widely and in the middle was the woman wearing her bridal gown. She's perfect.

I've never seen any girl as beautiful as she is. Her smile shines the brightest, her eyes glimmer with happiness, and my heart is throbbing. I'm left dumbfounded, I don't know what words would fit just to describe her.

We once dreamt about us getting married and here we are now, waiting in front of the sacred altar and later on we'll say our vows. It felt different before when Mika loves me more than anyone or anything. Now, all of these are not true. Everything seems so good, so perfect. But suddenly, I remembered that none of these are true.
