I woke up earlier than Mika this morning because of morning training. She was still sleeping so I did not choose to wake her up. Mika was already in her seventh month of pregnancy that's why I'm planning to have a surprise baby shower for her.

"Thirdy? May gagawin ba kayo ngayon ni Billie?" I called Thirdy and his voice seems like he was still groggy because of sleepiness.

"Huh? Wala naman. Dude, why so early? I don't have enough sleep yet." Thirdy complained on the other line.

"Good. Let's meet up later afternoon. We have to talk about something important. Tell Billie to come too." I replied.

"Yeah, sure. Ako na magsabi. Ge bye." He dropped the call. After that, I arrived in our training center. The usual intensive training drills and practice game took place. During our break, I checked my phone but no texts from my love. Wondered what is she doing.

"Paps, kamusta naman si Mika? Nabalitaan namin ni Ara yung nangyare eh." Thomas joined me on the bench.

"Wala namang nangyaring masama sa kanya at sa kambal. Nga pala, lunch out tayo nila Ara mamaya." I invited him.

"Bakit paps? What are you up to this time?" He asked while grinning at me.

"You'll know later." We got back to grinding. Training was so exhausting that's why afterwards, I called Mika. Energizer lang?!

"Hi my love!" I greeted her as soon as she picked up.

"Hey, training's done?" She asked.

"Yeah, on my way to our resto. Tagal ko na ring di yon namomonitor ng day time." I lied that I'm busy. Mika should not have any idea of the baby shower.

"Ah ganun, sayang naman. I wanted to have lunch with you." Mika sighed and it slightly broke my heart.

"I promise to be home before dinner. Promise!" I hope this would convince her.

"Ano pa nga bang magagawa ko? Sige na. Ingat ka ha? I know you're driving while talking over the phone but I let you get away with it." She said. Kamot ulo nalang nagawa ko eh.

"I love you." I replied.

"I love you too." Mika dropped the call. Thirdy, Billie, Ara, and Thomas were already in the restaurant when I came there.

"Hi guys! Sorry I'm late. Mika called pa eh." I took the seat beside Thirdy.

"So why are we here anyway?" Thirdy asked straight forwardly.

"I badly need your help. I would like to organize a surprise baby shower for Mika." I started speaking and the girls suddenly squealed.

"Aww! That was one of the sweetest thing ever!" Billie commented

"Yeah, and syempre it should be memorable because it's your first babies." Ara even added.

"The thing is, I have no idea how to come up with a surprise. And dun na papasok na kailangan ko ng tulong nyo." I sighed.

"Wag ka ng mag-alala, kaming bahala!" Thomas said with a thumbs up.

"Teka lang, kailan mo ba balak gawin 'to?" Thirdy asked.

"Third week of the month sana, kaya ba?" I told them.

"Madali lang naman yan. Basta bigyan mo kami ng budget saka yung guest list syempre." Billie replied. They came up with a surprise for Mika during that day too. Billie was the one in charge for the venue and the programme, Ara was the one in charge for the food, while Thomas and Thirdy will be the one to take care of the lights and sounds.
