The first thing I saw after I opened my eyes was the angelic face of Mika. She was sleeping soundly on my chest. I tried so hard not to wake her up, good thing she was in a deep sleep. Clingy pala 'to pag tulog eh, halos ayaw akong patayuin dahil nakapulupot sakin legs nya.

I got up earlier than Mika because I want to prepare breakfast for the both of us. Ate Karina was already up when I came to the kitchen.

"Ang aga yata natin ngayon sir ah!" She greeted me.

"Uhm Ate Karina, patulong naman ako maghanda ng breakfast para kay Mika." I was scanning our fridge to look for something I could serve for breakfast.

"Iyon lang pala eh! Sige sir, kuha ka lang ng dalawang itlog, yung bacon tas yung ham dyan sa ref." Ate Karina instructed me while she was preheating the pan.

This is Mika's favorite breakfast. Bacon, ham, egg, garlic rice, plus latte.

Ten minutes passed and her breakfast is already done. I put everything in a wooden tray plus a rose stem on the side.

"Miks? Good morning." She moved a little and yawned while stretching her arms.

"You got up earlier huh." I put the tray of food before her and her eyes widened immediately.

"Ikaw nagluto?" Mika at first did not believe that I was the one who cooked all of it.

"Hey, we have a flight to catch. Flight to Ilo-ilo." Mika got shocked and muntik na niyang maibuhos sa'kin yung latte na sana iinumin nya.

"Grabe naman, agad agad, mamaya?"

"Yep, I have to visit Hacienda Ravena. We'll be home too, siguro mga 10 pm." I told Mika to move quick because our flight will be around 2 pm. She stayed in our room while I went down to gather all the legal papers for Hacienda Ravena.

My phone rang twice before I answered. It was my dad.

"Hello dad?"

"Oh Kiefer, ngayon ba kayo lilipad papuntang Ilo-ilo?"

"Yes dad. I'm bringing Mika with me. Are you coming with us?"

"Yeah, your mom too. Matagal na rin kaming hindi nadalaw sa Hacienda."

"Sige dad, we'll see you later. Bye!" Dad hung up. I continued signing all the papers then afterwards, I took a shower.

Around 12:30 PM, Mika and I, together with my parents were on our way to the airport.

"Okay ka lang Miks?" Mika was scrunching her head. She was seated in the shot gun seat and I was the one driving.

"Not really. Sumasakit ulo ko." She mumbled.

"May gamot ka bang dala? Baka lumala pa yan." I told her.

"Wala nga eh. Di naman siguro." I helped her got off the car and Dad brought our bags.

Something's quite different with Mika today. I can't tell which or what is it, but I can feel that she is different. When we got inside the plane, Mika rested her head on the head rest, plugged in the earphones and closed her eyes.

My head hurts so bad since the moment I got up from bed. I don't know what's wrong with me and why the sudden headache.

I thought to myself, "Baka migraine lang." So, I took a nap first. After a few hours, Kiefer woke me up because we were already in Ilo-ilo.

"Are you okay now?" Kiefer held my hand when we got inside the car.
