Kiefer Ravena

"K-kiefer?"

A voice called me from a far. Mika stood on her feet, pulled me closer to her side, and held firm of my arm. I turned around to see who it was. I froze and gave Mika's other hand a tighter squeeze to assure her that I'm here and I won't leave her no matter what.

I can't believe to see her once again. The ghost of my past.

"Hi, it has been so long." She said, walked towards us and kissed me on my cheek, Trinca Diploma.

"Hey Trinca!" I got myself back because Mika pinched my hand slightly.

"Wow! It's good to see you here! Oh, is she your wife?" Trinca looked at Mika. Actually, it was quite a stare. Mika also glanced at Trinca. I can feel the tension between them.

"Yes, his one and only wife. Mrs. Mika Reyes-Ravena." Mika introduced herself and interrupted me. She offered a hand to Trinca and they shook hands. I got tensed but I think Mika got this.

"Trinca, who's with you?" Mika asked and glared at Trinca. Ngayon ko lang nakita yung ganitong side ni Mika and I'm loving it. Bullying somebody in a classy manner.

"Uhm, he's my husband! Kevin del Tierro." His husband just smiled at us, returned to their table, and talked to their clients I guess.

"We're on business trip kasi, Kevin chose Brazil." Trinca explained. I simply nodded but Mika answered, "Ah that's nice. Kami naman, we're on honeymoon. You know, quality time together, just the TWO of US." As Mika put emphasis on the words TWO and US. I'm mentally laughing right now.

"When did you guys get married? And why am I not invited?" Trinca pouted whilst Mika returned the devilish smile and replied, "February 14. Oh, dapat ba invited ka pa? Hahahaha! Just kidding!"

"How long have you guys been in the lovers relationship, anyways?" Trinca said, trying to change the topic.

"Ah, five years. Then we parted ways, but I guess destiny has its own way of pulling us back together again." I even brushed Mika's hair and put it under her ears while speaking. Trinca's eyes furrowed.

"Para namang nagkabalikan lang, kasal agad?" Trinca smirked.

"Yeah, maybe it was in a hurry. Pero kasi, I just woke up one morning, I wanted Mika to be my wife." Mika raised our hands, and now Mika was wearing her ring.

"HAPPILY MARRIED!" We both said at the same time and I can see in Trinca's eyes that anger and jealousy stirred up.

"I love you." Mika wrapped her arms around my neck and drew me closer to her.

"I love you even more." We kissed passionately in front of Trinca. French kissing to be exact. I even caught Mika beamed at Trinca while we were kissing.

After a minute, we broke our kiss. I cannot fathom Trinca's expression. She smiled awkwardly and said, "Uh, I'll return to our table. It was nice seeing you Kiefer.. and Mika." Then, she stomped her feet back to their table.

Mika and I ran up to the deck of the ship, laughing so hard because if what we did to Trinca.

"Did you see her face nung sinabi kong 'Mrs. Mika Reyes-Ravena'? HAHAHAHAHA Paiyak na eh!" Mika was actually laughing her heart out.

"Tapos, yung asawa naman nya, eh iniwan sya sa ere. Hahahahahaha!" I replied.

"At least, ako yung asawa ko, hindi ako iniwan. Diba?" Mika winked. I was just watching her; She was telling stories, so I listened. She was complaining about this and that, so I listened. She was missing her family, so I listened. I won't get tired of watching her because of the genuine happiness present in her eyes.
