My hands were cold and numb as I turn the knob to the right. I know he was here. The creak of the door sounded and it led me to where I would not want to go to. I regretted that I opened this door because it led me in this dark place.

There I saw Kiefer, lavishly kissing a girl and he does not have any idea I was already frozen there. The corners of my eyes were not enough to handle the raging tears. I covered my mouth with my bare hands, suppressing my mourn.

They stopped when. It was Aly she was kissing. I wanted to walk towards them but as if the floor was holding my feet. Kiefer dared to come towards me but I just took a step back. Aly, on the other hand, covered her face and wiped her lips with her thumb.

The tears flowing on my cheeks stopped. My mouth was half open but the words were in puzzle pieces I cannot put together. Kiefer was about to put his hand on my shoulder but I pushed it off. I took another step backwards away from him.

"Let me explain, Mika." His voice was loud enough for me but I cannot understand what he meant. I've had enough with what I saw a while ago.

"Explain what? That you accidentally put your lips onto hers?" Finally, I got to say something.

"Mika, it's not what you think. Believe me." Aly rushed in front of me on her knees bent. I helped her stood up and when she already regained her balance, that's when I slapped her.

"Well, what should I believe then?" I cried out. Aly was stooped on the ground while Kiefer was staring at me. "You have your guts to tell me what should I believe? Ha, shut up Aly!" I groaned.

"Please, just listen to me!" He made me face him. His hands were on my cheeks but I put down his hands.

"Kiefer, why? How could you do this to me?" My voice cracked while holding back all the tears.

"I-I'm so sorry."

"I was not enough, right? You were not happy with me, is that so?" I continued.

"Miks, it's not that-" He was speaking when I cut him off, "Do you love her?"

"Mika-" Kiefer reached for me.

"I was asking you if you love her."

"You are the one I love." Kiefer said that made me cry once more.

"Why did you do that if you love me then?" I clasped my hands to cover my mouth. He cannot answer me. Aly firmly stood up, held my hand, and cried.

"Forgive me, Mika. Please." She begged. I cannot put my eyes on her because of what she did.

"Just leave." I whispered. Aly stayed that way with her holding my hand. "Get lost, Alyssa! I don't ever want to see you again! Damn you!" This time, I shouted.

"Aly? Mika? Anong nangyare?" Jeron was standing by the door step. His fist was closed and his voice was stiff. Aly came by his side and cried. They left eventually.

Meanwhile, Kiefer was still standing in front of me with his jaw clenched. I went out of the room and immediately rode my car without saying a word.

There, I cried. Everything flashed inside my head. How I saw Kiefer kissing Alyssa, how he broke my trust and everything I have in him, and how did he cheat on me. Kiefer was outside, slamming and clammering the car door. His inaudible voice seems like banging all over my head. I can't think straight.

He cheated on me.

This is not the first time he cheated on me.

I drove off, leaving Kiefer behind. My visions were blurry because of the tears kept falling from my eyes. I don't know where to go and I don't know what to do. My lips were pursed and my hands were tightly holding the steering wheel. I wish I could just drive this fast to get away from all the pain I'm having right now.
