I touched the red silk dress that Jace asked Tita Vina to get me in one of her boutique in Manila. Simple lamang ito. May saktong haba at laki sa akin, nagbibigay ng labis na pagpapatingkad sa pagigin morena ko. It has a light grey faux fur shawl to pair with. I was also given a black D'orsay pumps and a black clutch. I let my naturally wavy hair to flow down at the middle of my back. I put on a light makeup, and went to Jace.

He's looking more attractive and dashing with his all black three piece suit. His hair is neat and styled to perfection.

"You look good." Aniya pagkalapit ko at hinapit ang aking baywang. Ngumiti ako at inayos ang itim na tie na suot niya.

"Kanina pa kita pinapanood..." Sabi niya.

"Hmm... Hindi ba ako pumanget sa paningin mo?" I asked sweetly.

He pulled me closer, and leaned for a soft whisper. "Mas lalo kang gumaganda sa paglipas ng mga sandali."

Napangiti ako habang pinagmamasdan siya. 

Bakit ang suwerte ko sa'yo, Jace?

"Let's go."

We ride his corvette, and we went to the venue in Makati. Sa labas pa lang, marami ng tao. May malaking panel side roon kung saan may mga media, red carpet at backdrop ng logo ng kompanya. Doon muna dumadaan ang mga guests bago pumasok sa mismong events' hall.

Pagbaba namin ng kotse ay agad na kinuha iyon ng valet. Jace snaked his left arm around my waist, and then we proceeded walking towards the red carpet.

Napangiti ako. Parang artista lang ah. Nakakaganda naman 'to!

"Mr. James Alexander, who is this lovely lady beside you?" Isang bading na taga media ang nagtanong at hinead to toe pa ako.

"She's my girlfriend. Fiancee na sana kaso ayaw pa eh." Sabi niya at bahagyang tumawa. Nakitawa rin ang bakla at may iilan pang mas nakiusisa sa amin.

"Everyone, my girlfriend, Aracelli Mendiola." He proudly stated.

I blushed at the sudden recognition I received. Some of the other journalist gathered around us and bombarded us with attention. I'm not someone who enjoys the spotlight so much,  but I have never thought that I'll love it now. Lalo pa't narito si Jace sa aking tabi. 

Ngumiti ako sa kanila at nagpose kami sa iilang camera roon. The lights made me dizzy and overwhelmed. Jace is sweet for letting the whole world know that I am his and he is mine.

Tama siya, singsing na lang ang kulang. Alam kong nakabili na siya pero siguro naman ay hindi siya rito mag po propose. Pagtapos ng gabing ito, baka nga pag-usapan na namin ito at tingin ko'y handa na ako.

Ilang tanong pa ang umulan sa amin bago kami tuluyang nakapunta sa entrance hall.

"Are you okay?" Jace asked. May bakas pa ng ngiti sa kanyang mga labi.

"I'm thrilled!" I said.

He nodded and kiss me on the cheeks.

The charity ball is organized by none other than the Vista Pharmaceuticals Corporation. Ang alam ko, kaakibat at kasangga ng Ty Pharma Corporation ang VPC. Jace's father is a health advocate, and he's part of VPC too. He's also a director. Doon ko mas lalong napatunayan na kahanga-hanga ang ama ni Jace. Kaya niyang pagsabayin ang lahat ng mga negosyo at may pamilya pa.
