33.New Faces

Deku looked around the area, the giant space in front of him completely different from how the rest of the facility looked. Just as Shigaraki and the League had the bar, Deku too had a base of operations. Looking at the outside, people would just see an old abandoned factory, but the room they were currently entering was different. It was slightly bigger than the League's bar and was furnished as well. On one wall there was a mounted screen with a table and several chairs. In a corner of the room there was a pair of couches across from each other with a small table in between. Nearby the entrance was a small bar and some stools, and on the other side of said bar was a small kitchen area. And finally in the area furthest from them was a small workshop/lab.

"Nice place we got here and though the League doesn't exactly have a base this still seems fair," Deku muttered. "It's their fault for letting the heroes find their hideout and also, we don't have all the connections the League does like Giran and his network." He then looked behind him at the people who were following him. "Well, I was already given some basic information on your quirks and skills, but how about we discuss them in further detail. It'll also give me a chance to get an understanding of your personalities and fighting styles."

They nodded their heads and walked over to the table by the screen that would become their meeting and planning area. Once they were seated Deku motioned for the person to his right to start and they stood up.

The person was the same girl who had met with Chisaki and was there during the Hassaikai raid. "So then, my name is Maria Cruz. There isn't much to say about my quirk as it was pretty much all in information that you've received since it's very straight forward." Deku motioned for her to go on and she just rolled her eyes before continuing. "Fine, I have dual quirks, wings and fireballs. Like I said straight forward. I can grow wings from my back and as for fireballs, I can create fireballs of varying strength from my hands and throw them. My fighting style is to fly, rain fire on people and if I have to then I punch them." Finished she sat down and the next person stood up.

He was the big guy who had been with Maria during the Hassaikai raid. He was wearing khaki shorts and the same jacket as before but now he wasn't wearing his mask, revealing his face. He had short black hair close to being a buzz cut and he was clearly more than just chubby. "Monterio Ryu, and my quirk is Food Rush. It allows me to turn stored up calories into power. My body becomes a bit tougher and I gain immense strength, more fuel equals more power and a longer lasting effect as when I am like that I quickly burn through all my energy. I'm mostly a close up brawler."

"Basically he's a blubber tank," the next person said as he stood up.

"Hey!"

"Oh shut it, you know it's true man. Anyways I'm Daichi Genki and my quirk is animorph. I touch the DNA of an animal and I can take on their abilities and features, like grow gills or wings or something like that. Though it's completely optional for me to choose whether or not I manifest these things." Daichi was a man with a fit build and came up to Montario's shoulders, though he was still taller than by about three inches. He was currently wearing a black muscle shirt with jeans. He had light brown hair almost like a lion's mane and Deku noticed that his two upper incisors were slightly longer and sharper than most people's. Daichi sat down as the next person stood up.

"Sayuri and my quirk is singsong. When I sing I can influence the emotions of others to a certain degree. How much I can influence them depends on both my current condition and their mental strength." Sayuri was about the same height as Deku and had long curly blonde hair and was wearing a plain white dress that came to her knees.

"And I'm her trusted partner in crime Ai Akemi," Said the girl next to her as she stood up and wrapped her arms around Sayuri's neck. She had short black hair that stopped short of her shoulders and a slim figure. She was wearing jeans and a black hoodie, as well as glasses. "My quirk is Illusion, I'm the person who helped you get away last week. Pretty much I blow a nearly undetectable mist from my mouth and if people inhale it then I can mess with their sight and hearing."
