Mirio looked around, checking for Deku’s group once again. During all the chaos he was hardly noticed by the heroes and as such he was not told to return to the rest of the students. After his initial worries he had found the different members of Deku’s team spread out across the battlefield. He mostly ignored their medic as he hardly ever saw him from his spot in the front, but while his worries had been misplaced earlier he still had a bad feeling and watched the other two at the front lines, as well as Diabla who could be seen from everywhere.
But when he looked now he could feel unease begin to grip him once again when he didn't see either Tank or Beast. He quickly looked up hoping to see Diabla but she too was missing. He also noticed that he hadn’t seen any large flames or anything that signaled Deku’s location in a while. Though a short while after he had disappeared he began to feel small tremors and shaking that was coming from below and assumed that he had gone to the underground facility, but the shaking had also stopped a while ago.
He finished off the villain in front of him and was about to run off in search of Deku and the rest of his team when he could feel shaking again, but it soon died down. He was about to continue forward when he felt someone grab onto his shoulder. He whirled around ready to attack whoever had grabbed him but stopped just in time when he saw that it was Tai.
“Whoa there, how about we don’t kill the underclassman huh. Anyway there was something I wanted to ask you. Have you seen Deku or any of the others that were with him. I had been with Void but a short while ago he just disappeared. And now I can’t find any of the others.”
“Actually I noticed the same thing. I had been told to return already but I had a bad feeling so I stayed behind and did my best to keep an eye on them but I’ve lost them too.”
While the two students were having this conversation the villains in question were currently inside of a large black van, leaving the battle between the heroes and the Liberation Army far Behind. Machia was following their path by burrowing underground, easily keeping up with the vehicle. Machia burrowed straight from the underground area while the rest of them managed to slip away during all the chaos.
Despite what Deku had asked Machia before they left they weren’t heading towards Tartarus Prison to free AFO. They’re destination was actually The hospital where the doctor where his alter ego of a kind old doctor worked, and the same place where the man did his work on Nomu’s and stored them.
As they still had a while before they got there Deku turned towards Void who was sitting across from him in the back in order to discuss a certain matter. “So, were you able to get them?”
Void nodded. “Yeah they’re all kept in my storage area. Though I doubt that bringing them out now would definitely cause problems.”
“No shit, of course we’re not letting them out yet. Once things are over then it’ll be fine. But first we need to handle things with the doctor. He may have been siding with Shigaraki but once he sees that Shigaraki will not be able to win this war of ours I am sure he will switch sides and work with us. I am not sure if he even cares which of us becomes the victor, he will choose the side that promises him safety and victory. He only really cares about working with Sensei, finding him to be quite remarkable and wishes to see what he’ll end up doing.”
“And what about the others,I know you wish to only defeat Shigaraki but will they really follow you?”
“Well one can never be completely certain about these things but I am sure. Dabi and Spinner only seem to care about living out Stain’s will. Dabi as someone who believes all heroes are unworthy and must be killed in order to reform society for the better while I’m pretty sure spinner is just a major league fanboy. Toga has also been influenced by the hero killer but ever since she joined the League she seemed to be quite interested in me. They did not join because of a loyalty for Shigaraki, in fact I’m sure Spinner is starting to doubt whether he should have even joined to begin with by now. The only real problem might be Mr.Compress. I don’t know his reasons for having joined the League."
