For the next three class periods, life was a real pain. It wasn't just being stuck with Tony that made it suck (although he certainly played a major part in it) no, it was the fact that Emilia had to do one thing she loathed.
Introducing herself to the class.
Emilia had always been an introvert. She didn't do well in crowds, nor did she ever have many friends. That's why it was so easy to leave her old school. No attachments.
And of course Tony made it all the more enjoyable when he practically shoved her out of her desk to do it.
He even added a few unnecessary comments like how he had met her three days ago, and now they were friends.
After the third introduction she was seriously ready to punch someone. All she wanted to do was to go to her new dorm and take a long needed rest.
But unfortunately, she still had four periods left to go, plus lunch hour. She was grim just thinking about going to the cafeteria.
She had Statistics now, and for once she was truly looking forward to going to class. She was an expert in mathematical analysis.
And even better, this was the first class that Tony wasn't there to torment her and embarrass her.
Knowing what was about to come, Emilia braced herself mentally telling herself words of encouragement.
Then, she pushed open the door, twenty or more heads snapping to attention at the sudden noise, gazes leveling on her. Judgmental prejudice stares already starting to form on their faces
No one moved to introduce themselves or point her to the right seat. Everyone just leered, glared, or studied her. None offered any friendly smiles like Tony had.
That was until a Hindu girl rushed into class frantically, several papers peeking out of her Hermes messenger bag, her dark hair disheveled. She was panting, as if she had just run a marathon.
She must have felt Emilia's fixated stare on her, because her eyes flickered up revealing stunning chocolate brown eyes.
The girl surveyed Emilia, her sharp features zeroing in on Emilia intently. Then her face broke into a large smile.
"Your Emilia Wentz?" She questioned
"Yeah that's me" Emilia was tempted to say 'and don't wear it out' but that would be god awful cheesy.
