Emilia Wentz was not a morning person. This is why when Matthew, her older brother attempted to wake her up, she simply chucked a pillow at him.
She heard a loud oof, and then some mumbled curses. She unconsciously smiled.
Bullseye.
But sadly, her happiness at her brother's misery was short lived as he started to shake her roughly.
"Emily get the hell up" She heard her brother command
She peaked one eye open, spotting Matthew looking vexed. "Nah I'm good" she casually replied back
"It's not an option. If I have to, I'll drag you out of bed myself" Matthew threatened
Emilia moaned "I'm not in the mood for school" She then preceded to cover her face with one of her fluffy pillows.
Emilia relaxed, sighing contently as she nuzzled her head between her two pillows in contentment.
But that all came to a pause when she felt her waist leaving her wool blankets. She squealed reaching for her bed in desperation as she got pulled farther from her cozy comforter.
After mourning the loss of sleeping in more, she looked up meeting her brother's exasperated eyes.
"You act like I wanted to wake you up" He said scoffing "The only reason I'm here is because mom forced me"
"Yes mommy's little helper" Emilia grunted rubbing her eyes
"Your such a pain to wake up. You look so peaceful when your sleeping, like an angel" Matthew mindlessly quipped looking at her. "But then, you wake up" he concluded, wrinkling his nose, as if the thought abhorred him.
"Aww" Emilia cooed "You think I'm an angel?"
"Yeah I'm done with this" Matthew groused putting her down firmly.
"Be ready in ten" Matt said ruffling her hair which Emilia quickly slapped away.
Matthew rolled his eyes.
See? A family habit.
Not saying anything more, Matthew left Emilia to get dressed.
Emilia lazily began to strip off her clothes, starting the process of replacing her snug warm pajamas with her new uniform.
