The first sight that greeted Arabella was Nikolai, or Nikki as she like to call him, curled up right beside her, snoring softly. Translucent drool was slipping out from his parted lips.

She bit her lip hard to keep in an awww.

He was so flipping adorable when he was asleep.

Too bad he had to wake up eventually.

Arabella could smell his recognizable scent of strawberries and morning dew from here.

Refreshing and raw.

She was tempted to just go back to sleep. His almost angelic face was so alluring right now, she felt drawn to him like a moth to a flame you might say.

But...she couldn't.

No.

She wouldn't.

Last night was a mistake.

A hot, sexy mistake.

But a mistake nonetheless.

One that she knew beforehand she was gonna regret, but did it anyways.

Arabella gave him a sad smile, lightly brushing his unruly bangs off his forehead. She leans down slowly, giving him a gentle kiss across his forehead.

"Farewell Nikki" she whispered before she began to pack up her things and leave.

She thought she could avoid them, both Nikolai and Tatum and just have a relaxing trip with her new boyfriend Brenton Lang, but alas things never worked out in her favor.

She should've known better.

She should've listened to her dad and not have come on this trip.

But at least she had gotten closure from one of the boys she loved, one good thing to come out of this trip.

As she walked by the camp pit, she began to mull over the disastrous conversation she had with Tatum Beaumont yesterday.

"Tatum" she called out towards the male teen on the dock, his long legs dangling idly over the water.

Arabella noticed how his calm composition instantly changed when she called his name, his muscular shoulders tensing under his tight knit white polo shirt.

For another ten seconds, his whole being stood frozen, unknown to her, having a serious debate inside his head.

The teen made up his mind and gradually began to shift his head to look at her, his narrowed cerulean blue eyes meeting her warm amber ones.

She took in his familiar features, from his eyes, to his straight edged nose, and delicate rose pink lips, all the way down to his square jawline.

Arabella smiled "I've missed you Tate" she hummed taking a seat next to him.

The boy scoffed at her. "Don't play with my emotions Winfrey" he scorned

"Oh" she raised a brow "so we're on last name basis are we?"

"Don't act so oblivious and innocent on what happened" his eyes were cold when he looked at her "playing the victim doesn't suit you"

Arabella was completely unaffected by his icy demeanor. This wasn't the first time she had experienced it.

The girl rolled her eyes at him "And yet you playing the standoffish asshole suits you so well" she retorted back
