Tony's hand hovered over the doorknob, a mix of anxiety and dread stirring in his gut as he hesitated before his own house.

Bartholomew, his long time butler, watched him with keen eyes. "Mr.Tony are you going to open the door?" He spoke up finally after observing the teen's little amount of progress in opening it in the past 10 minutes.

"Uh I'm... getting there Bart" he stuttered out, scratching his head.

Bart crossed his arms "Mr. Tony I know Master and Miss Vasiliou can be daunting but you have to see them at some point" he gave the younger man a pointed look "their your parents" he stated as if that was explanation enough to convince him to go suffer through another family dinner.

Tony gave him a disapproving frown "And I thought you were on my side"

Bart sighed as if they'd had this conversation multiple times, which they did.

"I'm on no one's side Mr. Tony. I'm just trying to do my job" Bart replied back curtly

Tony grumbled nonsensical mutters under his breath before giving a over dramatic sigh.

"Fineeee...but you owe me extra pancakes in the morning for this dinner"

Bart cracked a rare smile "Deal Mr. Tony"

Giving a lazy smile, he pushed down the handle of the door, making it creak open in announcement of his arrival.

As soon as he closed the door, he nearly had a heart attack.

"Where were you?" A strict voice barked from the stairwell, making Tony jump in alarm.

He whirled around towards the source of the voice, glaring. "Would you stop creeping up on me like that? It's getting old" He snapped back.

Warren Vasiliou, Tony's older brother by five years was positioned against the right rail of the stairway, his lean body bent over it casually, as he returned his brother's glare in kind.

"I wasn't creeping on you. I was patiently waiting for your arrival" he snipped back.

Tony snorted "Oh so basically waiting to creep on me?" He laughed in his mind at the image of Warren being patient with anything.

Warren then, acting like the true twenty three year old adult he was, rolled his eyes at his little brother.

"Why do you have to be so annoying?"

"I don't know why do you have to be so retarded?"

Warren arched an eyebrow "A retarded person wouldn't have a degree in law now, would he?"

Tony shrugged "I don't know. Anything's possible at this point"

He glanced at his brother "Plus why are you so agitated? Mom and Dad love you the most out of us all...well most of the time" Tony trailed off.
