*I know in the Clone Wars Boba doesn't think of the other clones as brothers but in this he does... and the Kaminoans are just gonna be the same old mean Kaminoans, 'cuz y not? This one might be a little bit boring, so just a heads up... *
It was times like these, that young Boba Fett hated. He hated Kamino with a passion. He hated the rain, and he hated being stuck on Kamino while his father was hunting for a bounty. He didn't understand why he couldn't go with his dad. He had nothing to do, except annoy the other clones that called Boba their brother.
Boba knew the other clones, he liked them, but most of the time they had battle training so he couldn't play around with his brothers as much. When he could play with them the Kaminoans had to watch out, unless they wanted to get run into or something like that.
Boba was currently outside standing in the cold rain on Kamino, his long brown wavy hair was wet and plastered on his face, and his clothes were drenched. He was staring out at the water, the waves crashing against the side of the building, and longing for someone to ease his boredom.
His father, Jango Fett, had been gone for more than a week to find some stupid death stick dealer that had sold death sticks to the wrong person and had gotten a large price on his head because of it. Boba was getting cold and he walked back into the cloning facility leaving a trail of water behind him from the water dripping off his clothes. He knew the Kaminoans were going to be upset with him about it, but Boba didn't care. They deserved it for treating his brothers so poorly.
Boba could never understand why the Kaminoans were so mean to the other clones. They were nicer to him but that was probably because his father was the clone template. The long-necked aliens thought the clones were just things bred for war and were made to die. Boba knew the Kaminoans thought his brothers were expendable. He knew the war was going to begin soon and he didn't have an opinion about it. He didn't care who won as long as he wasn't going to die. He knew that clones were going to turn on the Jedi, he knew all about the inhibitor chips and Order 66. Dooku/Tyrannus was stupid enough to trust his father and Boba with information as valuable as this.
Boba was still standing in the same spot as he came in, lost in his thoughts when Taun We came walking by. Taun We always acted nice to Boba when his father was around, but the second his father was away Boba was treated the same way his brothers were. He hated Taun We most of all but he hated all of the long-necked aliens in general. If any of the Kaminoans had a bounty on their heads, Boba would be the first to collect it. He would fight his father for the bounty if he had to, or he could just split the credits with him instead. Not that the Kaminoans were going to have a bounty on their heads anytime soon.
"Fett. I told you a thousand times not to leave a trail of water in the hallways. Clean this up now!" Taun We hissed glaring at him. She looked at the puddle with great distaste.
"Sorry about the mess, but I'm not cleaning it up. These are your cloning facilities, so maybe you should clean it up." Boba said defiantly. He wasn't in the mood to deal with Taun We's nonsense.
"Stupid clone. You never know when to stop, do you?" Taun We scoffed before walking off and around the corner. Boba glared at her retreating form praying that she'd slip on the puddle of water, but she didn't so Boba walked off and decided to annoy Colt. It was easy to annoy him, all you have to do is make fun of his prideful, boring, and annoying speeches. Colt was a bit different from Blitz and Havoc, he always made boring speeches about the Republic that they would soon fight for and eventually betray. Boba walked down the boring white hallways towards the training room, where Colt would be training the cadets.
______Time Skip______
Boba watched silently as Colt yelled at the cadet who had shot and missed the target completely. The other cadets in the group weren't doing so great either, they had terrible aim and most of them weren't even trying at all. In fact, they had come up with a game to see who could miss the most targets. Boba had been watching this game for over an hour and he was tired of watching them intentionally miss the targets. Colt sighed in defeat and gave up, he leaned against the wall watching the cadets failing target practice. Boba thought that his father should come and train the cadets that way the cadets would be scared to not miss their targets.
"Playtime's over. Get back to work, now! And if you miss any more targets on purpose, or act out of line again, you will have much more than a lecture with me, later." Colt hissed while giving the cadets a warning glance. The once laughing cadets who were having fun were now trembling in fear, knowing perfectly well that he wasn't joking and that would be severely punished if they acted up again. Boba smirked to himself remembering how strange and brutal Colt's punishments were.
The cadets who had thrown their blasters at each other, picked up their fallen blasters from the floor, while the others who hadn't had already began to shoot at the targets. Boba watched as they tried their best to aim in the center, but landing outside of the designated area. Some were better than others, while others were hopeless.
Boba cursed silently as one of the cadets had shot the wall instead of the target, which was a good six feet away from the wall. Boba got off of the crate he was sitting on and sighed loudly and a bit obnoxiously before stomping towards the group of cadets who were staring at Boba nervously. They knew that they weren't good at shooting blasters and they knew that the young bounty hunter who was glaring at them was a sharpshooter and that most likely he was going to go ballistic and insult them because of it.
Boba, however, pulled out the WESTAR-34 blaster that his father had given him. Boba preferred using an EE-3 Carbine Rifle, but because his father used a WESTAR-34 blaster, Boba thought it'd be cool if he used one as well. Like father, like son. Boba put his finger on the trigger and shot the target in the center. Boba had always liked showing off and when he saw an opportunity to show off, he took it. He proceeded to shoot every target and each time he always shot in the center. He had learned everything from his father and Boba had already earned himself a reputation for bounty hunting and his father couldn't be any happier. It was the start of his legacy and Boba's legacy was definitely not standing about watching cadets fail at target practice each day.
"You guys suck! You do realize that you're supposed to hit the target not the wall, right? Or are you just dumb and careless? You boys are sloppy and you need help. I'm leaving but if you want help, I'll help. Just ask me and I will." Boba said and walked out of the training room. Boba hadn't changed out of his clothes when he came back inside from standing out in the rain. He had spent an hour watching the cadets and his clothes hadn't dried completely and so he was cold.
Boba walked to his apartment and changed his clothes, noting that his dad wasn't back yet. He was back to where he had started. He flopped on the couch, perhaps a little too dramatically, letting his boredness consume him. He was lost in his thoughts and he wondered how much longer he would have to wait for his father to come back.
He was truly stuck on Kamino...
