The Clone Wars: Fun with the clones!

2 Baby Clones

Rex rolled over onto his stomach as he started to wake up. He sat up rubbing the sleep out of his eyes. He heard a baby cry from somewhere nearby in the room. Rex jumped out of his bunk and started searching for the crying baby. I hope this is one of Fives' pranks, he thought. 

He stopped shocked at the sight of what was in Echo's bunk. It was Echo but he was a baby. Echo looked up Rex and wailed loudly. His wail woke the rest of Torrent Company. 

"What the kriff? Is that- baby Echo?!" Fives shouted. He ran towards his brother and looked down at him shocked.  Baby Echo reached for Fives and hugged his leg. Fives grinned and picked up the still crying baby Echo. 

"Um, Kix? You're a medic. Can you explain why our brother is now a baby?" Tup asked looking at Fives and Echo. 

Kix was about to answer but was cut off when they all heard a thump and a shrill cry from another baby. Everyone turned towards the source of the noise. It was Hardcase. He had been turned to a baby as well. 

"Well, I'm guessing that thump was Hardcase falling off his bunk," Jesse said rushing over towards little Hardcase. Hardcase was crying, but as soon as Jesse picked him up, he started chewing on Jesse's blacks. 

"Umm...guys? How are we going to explain this to General Skywalker?" asked Dogma. 

"Explain what, to me?" Anakin said as he walked through Torrent Company's quarters. He had a grin on his face but the grin turned into a frown when he saw the two babies. "What is going on here? Fives did you seriously smuggle two babies into your quarters?" Anakin said eyeing Echo and Hardcase.

"Sir, they're not random babies. They're Echo and Hardcase, we found them like this when we woke up." Rex replied. 

"Sorry Rex but I'm not buying it. There's no way that's Echo or Hardcase." Anakin said peering closer at the two baby clones. "Oh. They are! The force presence- They are Echo and Hardcase! What are we going to do? I don't know how to take care of babies! My Jedi training didn't teach me this!" Anakin panicked. 

"Uh, sir? What do we do now?" Fives asked. He peered down at Echo who was currently sucking on his thumb. 

"Um. I'm not sure. Contact Obi-Wan, he might know how to care for a baby." Anakin said shrugging. He gently picked up Hardcase and poked him in the nose. "Why won't he stop crying? Stop crying, Hardcase! As your general, I order you to stop crying!" he complained continuing poking Hardcase in the nose. 

"Sir, I don't think that poking our baby brother will get him to stop crying." Rex declared. He took Hardcase from Anakin's arms and gently rocked him back and forth. 

"Sorry, Rex. I don't like younglings so what makes you think I like babies?! I hate them, but I hate sand more. I hate the fact that two of my amazing men are babies and I don't know what to do!" Anakin yelled running out of the room. 

"Well, if Ahsoka were still with us she could have helped us with this baby brother problem. I miss Ahsoka, she was so fun." Tup said softly leaning over Rex as he peered down at baby Hardcase. 

Hardcase giggled and reached for Tup's face. Tup put his head towards the baby clone and Hardcase pulled Tup's bun out of place. 

"Hey! Don't do that." Tup complained wincing as Hardcase tugged on a strand of his hair. 

Fives let out a loud yelp because Echo had just bit Fives' finger. Echo laughed and clapped his hands together. 

"I'm hungry. Can we go get food?" Jesse whined. He looked over at the two baby clones and was about to speak when Dogma interrupted him.
