The Clone Wars: Fun with the clones!

Flying With Anakin

Kix and Jesse were walking through the halls. Kix had been stuck in the medbay all day, and Jesse had to practically drag him out. As the never-ending war raged on, more and more clones had been getting injured which meant that every medic in the GAR was busy and had longer shifts in the medbay. 

They were talking about Fives and Hardcase's new prank they had done earlier that morning. They had failed to notice Anakin walking towards them, with the usual reckless Anakin Skywalker grin plastered on his face. Anakin isn't Anakin without that Skywalker grin.

"Hey, guys! What's up?" Anakin said. He had a plan and Kix, Jesse, and Rex were involved. He wanted Obi-Wan to be part of his plan but he was with Cody. Like always.  

"Nothing much, General," Kix said. He was glad to see their general was in a better mood. Fives and Hardcase had pranked Anakin with sand, again. The general had been annoyed with everyone and anyone that got in his way had gone to the medbay. Which was also another reason why Kix was in the medbay all day. Echo had been reading another regulation manual and accidentally bumped into Anakin who spilled his caf all over himself. Echo had been shoved into the wall and his regulation manual had been used to clean up the spilled caf. Hardcase and Fives had been Force pushed against the wall of the mess hall and had woken up a few hours ago. They were too shocked and bruised to speak, except for when Hardcase asked for a doughnut. So, yes Kix was glad to see the general in a better mood. 

"Just got back from the medbay, sir. We had a lot of minor injuries within the 501st, today. Everyone's doing fine except for Fives and Hardcase," Jesse said glaring at Anakin. He himself had dealt with Anakin's wrath. 

"Right. I heard they've woken up?" Jesse nodded and Anakin went on. "Good. I hate sand, they should have known better. Anyways, where's Rex?" 

"Back in the medbay, sir. He's trying to get Fives and Hardcase to talk. They're both shaken up pretty badly, didn't expect you to Force push them against the wall." Kix answered. 

"Okay, send Echo to get them to talk. I need you both and Rex in my quarters, in thirty minutes. Tell Echo I'll get him a new regulation manual." Anakin said. "Actually, meet me in the hanger in thirty minutes." 

"Sir? What do you need us for?"

"I'll tell you later."

*Time Skip*

Rex, Kix, and Jesse walked in the hangar and saw Anakin standing next to a speeder. He had a grin on his face and he motioned them to come over.

"Guess we're going on a ride," Rex said sighing. He had paperwork to do and he didn't have time to go fly around Coruscant with Anakin and the others.

"Great, because it's not like I have brothers to attend to in the medbay. I really don't have time for this." Kix said shaking his head.

"I don't want to go flying with General Skywalker. General Kenobi says that our general is terrible at flying. This is a bad idea." Jesse stated. He heard the stories Obi-Wan had about his times flying with Anakin.

"Hey, guys! Let's go, we're a bit late to our destination. We should go now before dinner gets cold." Anakin rushed, jumping in the speeder. The others glanced at each other and got in.

"Where is our destination, exactly? And what do you mean before dinner gets cold?" Rex asked his eyes narrowing in confusion.

"We're having dinner with a friend. You know her, don't worry. It's-"

"Padme? We're going to your apartment and having dinner with your wife, correct?" Jesse said. They made their relationship obvious but this was a whole different level.
