Cody Is a Jedi?!

*This Is Pretty short*

Cody stepped into his quarters in the Jedi Temple. It had been a very exciting day for him. He had been made a padawan to Master Kenobi. Cody couldn't help but smile for the rest of the day after receiving the news. 

There was a knock on his door. Cody opened the door and came face to face with his Master, Obi-Wan Kenobi. He tucked his newly made padawan braid behind his ear and motioned for his master to come inside. 

"What is it, Master? Do you need something?" he asked curiously. 

"No Cody. I just wanted to ask your opinion about tomorrow's mission. We have the 212th Attack Battalion ready, are you? After all, you were their former commander." Kenobi said placing a hand on his padawan's shoulder. 

Cody shrank back down on his mattress. He forgot that it's his first battle against the Seppies as a Jedi and not a commander. Cody had wanted to be a Jedi and when Mace Windu overheard Cody talking to a random shiny about it, Windu had let Cody become a Jedi. His brothers had looked skeptical, some felt betrayed, and others like Waxer and Boil didn't care either way because they would still be able to see their former commander. Cody didn't have the Force but he was still allowed to be a Jedi. 

"Yeah, yeah. I think I'm ready. I just never thought I'd become a Jedi. It's just different. My brothers don't talk to me as much anymore. They feel betrayed, and like-. I guess I'm ready, Master." Cody answered. 

Obi-Wan looked over at Cody, slightly confused. He shook his head and then walked out of the room. 

Cody picked up his lightsaber and turned it on, hearing the low hum it made. He swung it around, trying to be graceful, but the weapon fell out of his hands and made a burnt whole in the rug on his floor. He laughed and picked it up. He couldn't wait to slice droids in half with the lightsaber tomorrow. 

Cody woke up. He looked around the room and noticed he was in the barracks, and not the Jedi Temple. "The whole thing was just a dream?!!!!" he wailed. He flung himself back on the bed and wished that he could be a Jedi. He felt some metal thing under his pillow and pulled it out. It was General Kenobi's lightsaber. Cody grinned and thought, time to terrorize my brothers.
