Hoseok and Taehyung become friends pretty quickly, exchanging numbers and talking late into the night.

"Are you nervous about tomorrow? It's your first day at university." The older of the two, Hoseok, asks concerned.

"Not really. I can't wait to be honest. Learning relaxes me, as weird as it sounds." Taehyung chuckles softly, his friends always tease him with his love for studying. They call him a nerd but he hasn't been bullied.

"Doesn't sound really weird to me, I'm the same. I mean, we decided to learn something for life, a job to be precise. It would be idiotic to waste all that money and then be without a job just because we think that partying is more important. " Hoseok never understood why some students are actually here. Of course there are those who follow in the footsteps of their parents but have absolutely no desire. The rest, however, should pinch their buttocks and pick up books for at least a few years.

Taehyung hums, agrees one hundred percent with his friend. "That's exactly my point when Yoongi Hyung laughs at me. He's smart, so it was always pretty easy for him, he didn't even have to study a lot."

"Is Yoongi your brother?" The dancer asks curiously.

"No, Namjoon Hyung is my brother. Yoongi and I have been best friends as long as I can remember. He's always there for me and helped me when rude people bullied me about my appearance. You know, my ears and the tail. He even played my fake boyfriend a lot when I wanted to get rid of annoying omegas and betas." The alpha laughs at the memory, but then remembers that he is now mated and falls silent.

"It's really nice of him, I'm glad you have someone like him in your life." Hoseok didn't notice the sudden change in mood and smiles, Taehyung can hear it in his voice.

"Yes me too." A yawn announces that it's quite late. "I'm so sorry, Hobi, I think I should go to sleep now."

"That's a good idea, sleep well Tae. I'll pick you up tomorrow at half past seven. Be ready or I'll take you to college in your pajamas." Hoseok jokingly warns him.

"Gosh, that would be a fun first day." Taehyung imagines how others would react to him.

"Or the worst ever." Hoseok shakes his head, imagining it as well.

"Anyway, it would be unforgettable. Bye for now, Hobi Hyung. Good night."

"You too, Tae." They end the call and go to bed.

Surprisingly, Taehyung fell asleep quickly, he's excited for tomorrow, but also a little nervous.

The morning comes faster than expected, his alarm clock goes crazy when the alpha doesn't turn it off immediately. It's this type of alarm that pops up and rolls around the room until the sleeping person catches it and hits the red button. Yoongi had given it to him because Taehyung had often missed important meetings.

With a loud groan he gets up and rolls over on his side, but he was already on the edge, so that his body hit the floor with a loud bang. "Crap!" He groans even louder and rubs his head.

The alarm clock is still ringing and it is starting to annoy him. Taehyung gets up to look for the device and finds it under his desk. "You little shit." He bends down, grabs it, and finally presses the button.

As he stands up, hits his head on the underside of the table and curses loudly. "What a shitty morning, it can only get better from now on." He shakes the pain off, frowning, and goes to the bathroom to get ready. Hoseok will be there in an hour.

After his morning routine, Taehyung eats a little and puts the rest in a box to eat later for break. He doesn't want to spend too much money on useless things when he can get it cheaper. It's not that he's poor, he's not incredibly rich either, but Taehyung would rather buy clothes than other things that he can prepare at home for less.

Moments later the doorbell rings. He reaches for his bag and runs to the door with a piece of bread between his teeth. "Come!" The alpha tries to scream but is suppressed by the food.

Hoseok laughs as soon as the door opens and sees the younger one chewing bread. "Got up late or what?"

"It was actually early, but I always eat the rest of my breakfast on my way." Taehyung smiles at the Omega.

They go to university while talking about this and that. It's really nice.

As they approach the building, Taehyung feels his stomach turn and he doesn't know why. He's not worried about his first day so it confuses him. The alpha has the urge to vomit, but swallows the lump down.

Hoseok realizes that something is wrong because Taehyung suddenly fell silent. "Hey, what's the matter?" His voice is full of worry.

"I honestly don't know, but suddenly I feel sick." He's holding his stomach with both hands.

"Do you want to go back? I can tell the secretary that you weren't feeling well, it's not a problem at all." Hoseok caresses the alpha's back. It's in his nature as an Omega to take care of others who are close to him.

"No, I'm sure it will go away soon. I don't want to miss the first day, what would that look like?" Taehyung presses his lips together into a thin line, inhales deeply and exhales slowly. "Let's go."

Hoseok nods, still doesn't know if this is a good idea, but Taehyung is old enough to decide what's best for him.

Both walk into the building and the feeling only gets stronger. "Fuck." Taehyung swears.

"I would say you are pregnant, but I can't notice any change in your scent." The dancer is trying to joke, but it might actually be what he says.

It's not that alphas can't get pregnant, even men, but it's rather rare. That's why there is almost no true blood in the world.

"I haven't done it in over a year, so no, it's not possible." Taehyung smiles a little, but it doesn't quite reach his eyes because his thoughts return to his last time. It was with Jeon Jeongguk, his mate, who suddenly disappeared.

"I see, maybe you got something like a bad cold?" The older one isn't giving up yet, there has to be a reason Taehyung is feeling uncomfortable.

"I don't think s-" He was interrupted by a voice he recognized immediately.

"Catch Me Loser!"

"Yah Jeon! Give it back, you asshole!" A young man his age chases after someone who looks way too familiar.

Hoseok waves his hands in front of Taehyung's face. "Earth to Taehyung, what's wrong? You look like you've just seen a ghost."

It brings the younger back to reality. "And that's exactly what happened." He says quietly, still staring at the point where the omega of his past has disappeared with the other boy.

"What? Would you please explain that to me in more detail, because I only saw the brat named Jeongguk running down the hallway like a child with one of his stupid human friends." Hoseok rolls his eyes, is already used to such a scene.

"Human friends? You know Jeongguk?" Taehyung swallows, so it really was him.

"Yes, I told you yesterday about this one dancer who couldn't take the lead from me, it was him. At first Jeongguk was very nice and attentive, but the more he hung out with these idiots, the more he changed. It's really tragic if you ask me." The omega shakes his, they were friends too, got along pretty well until one day everything has changed.

"Shit, can we talk after classes? I really have something important to tell you." Taehyung turns to the smaller one, his gaze serious.

"Of course Tae, call me okay?" Hoseok is of course even more curious now.

Taehyung nods, it's getting late and they have to go to the lecture halls. "Thank you Hobi, see you."

They split up because they don't have the first two courses together.
