Chapter 8: Worried Sick

Namjoon POV
I was browsing through my phone when I heard a sneeze. I dropped the magazine and saw Yoona trying to get up.I quickly stood up and went to help her out.My mind was entirely on the lady who sat at my front right now.
"Gosh,I thought you were going to die!"I gushed and gave her a quick hug.
Still in my arms,She croaked"What happened?"

"Yah,you made us worried sick,I had been watching you all day."

"Really?..What time is it?"She asked still surprised.

"7:30PM,you slept for almost the whole day!Are you Okay?
Do you not feel hungry or anything"

"Where are the others?"She asked.

"Inside,Your Mom was here?!"

"My Mom?"She asked trying to get up and fell back down on the bed. I ran over to her and helped her lay back down.

I was thirsty from the whole stress and all and pulled out a bottle of water from the ground and sat down taking a sip with my eyes still on Yoona.

"Water"I offered but she bluntly refused. She was still too weak.

"Can you rest for a while,while I get the others?"I asked waiting for her response. My actions depended on it.

"Sorry to disturb you"The doctor had interrupted our conversation.
"I need to run a few tests on her"The doctor said.
"I'm okay,"She screamed at the sight of the injection.
I followed her eyes to the injection the doctor held in his arms.

A surge of fear ran through my spine.I hate injections too though.I stared back at a frightened Yoona,She was so scared.
I rushed over to the doctor and asked"Is there no other option than this"I pointed to the injection on the doctor hand.

"She is really scared of injections."I whispered to his ear.

"Ah,really,It won't be painful I promise"The Doctor said.

I looked over at a scared Yoona,She was all nervous,sweat beads were all over her.

I sighed and walked over to her again.

I bent over and whispered to her ears."It won't be painful,I promise"

She nodded and I winked at the doctor to give him a go ahead.

"Do I need to leave the room?"I asked the doctor who was getting ready to inject the drug into her.

"No,No need,You can stay here"

"Okay,I'd just turn around and stand over here"

I heard the doctor and nurses giggling behind me."He is so funny"

A few minutes later,I felt someone tap my shoulders and whisper "You guys are cute couples"

"Couples"
I shook my head and walked over to Yoona who was snuggling under her covers.

I walked over to her and put her pillow well and walked outside.

I spotted Yoona's Mum over the counter and walked over to her.

I bowed my head, greeted her and sat next to her.
"You are Namjoon?"She asked.
"Yes,Ma"I nodded with a smile.

"How is my daughter like?"
"Ma?"I asked again trying to understand the question.

"I hope she works well at the house?"
"Yes,Ma'am"

I needed to stop this but in a respectful manner,It was so awkward.

"I need you to give her this"
"Oh, Alright"I replied and collected it from her.

"Yoona,will be okay,I'd take care of her,you should go now"I said with a smile.
