Not Who You Think part 2

•Jesse's POV•

My hair whipped behind me as I sprinted full speed into beacon town. I had one destination in mind. The Treasure Hall.

I entered the building, panting from running. I knew a secret passage to get to the Treasure Hall. Olivia helped me install it when she set my armour platform in place.

sneaking to the stairwell leading to the Hall - I didn't use it because that would be too obvious if the Admin was expecting me - and lifted the corner of a banner to the side, exposing a well-camouflaged door.

I slipped in and silently shuffled in the dark tunnel, feeling my way on the wall for any bends or dead ends. eventually I found the door leading to the back of the Treasure Hall. I opened it with as little noise as possible only to be faced with a scene on the other end of the Hall.

Lukas was kissing the Admin-Jesse!!

for some reason, I couldn't contain my anger as I yelled out to them.

"Hey! Lukas, what are you doing with the imposter?!"

Lukas turned to me, surprise and confusion written on his face. he looked at me then back at the admin, then back at me again.

Admin-Jesse, or rather Romeo, stepped out from behind Lukas and advanced towards me.

"Great! Just more trouble for me to handle!" He complained.

Lukas had stayed frozen in place, either from the shock that he just kissed the Admin or the fact that there are two Jesse's in the same room.

"Enough, Romeo. You took my identity, locked me in a prison where I'd never see daylight again and now you're kissing my best friend in my own building! Lets end this here and now." I said with a low growl.

And the battle began.

•Lukas's POV•

When Jesse burst into the room announcing that I had kissed the Admin, I was so shocked that I couldn't move a single limb, not even a single word could spill from my lips.

My face turned beet red when I realised I confessed my love to the wrong person.

I shook my head, coming out of my daze to see the two Jesse's were circling each other. I had to help my friend.

But the question is, which one is the real Jesse?

"Lukas, help me out here!" one of the Jesse's shouted. I made no move as I wasn't sure which Jesse was the real one.

"Prove to me you're the real Jesse! Tell me something only the real Jesse would know!" I yelled, waiting for a sign.

One Jesse winked at me and said,

"After this, Lukas, we can talk about where our friendship is heading, if friendship is even the right word for it."

The other Jesse looked at me with honest, pleading eyes,

"Lukas... remember that one time at Soren's fortress, I misjudged the distance between the platforms and fell into the chasm with enderman? You came back for me when I though no one would. I never said thank you for that so I'm saying it now - thank you from the bottom of my heart, Lukas." she finished off.

I knew who to help. Only the real Jesse would know that I came back for her. That was the day I fell for her... literally and metaphorically. ( hehe :3 )

I rushed the imposter Jesse and tackled her...him? Eh doesn't make a difference! I tackled the admin to the ground as Jesse produced a gauntlet, slipping it on her hand before taking my place over the admin and started punching him. He started turning brilliant colours as he shape shifted from one embodiment of a person to the next.

"One more punch and you're powerless, Admin!" Jesse growled as she raised her fist for the final blow.

"No wait! I'm so very sorry, Jesse! I meant no harm to your people. I just wanted friends who appreciated my gifts." Jesse wavered a bit but her grip on the Admin was still firm.

"I don't care. You terrorised my town, deceived my closest friends and stole my identity. I just can't forgive you for that." And with that being said, Jesse brought her fist down onto the Admin, as if trying to prove a point.

The Admin glitched a few times before fully transforming to a powerless person.

"Get out of here, Romeo, and never come back." Jesse snarled as the Admin rushed to his feet and scrambled out of the Hall.

Jesse turned to me with a small smile playing on her lips. I smiled back at her as she stepped closer to me.

"So what did you say to Romeo that ended up in that kiss, huh?" she said as the smile on her face grew to a smirk. My cheeks turned a light shade of pink at the memory.

"Uhhh well you see, the Admin got a hold of my Biome Journal and kinda got to a part towards the end where it turns into a normal journal where I expressed my feelings for... you? And I guess I got so embarrassed that I--" I was cut off as Jesse brought her hands up to cup the side of my face.

"Lukas... you talk too much." she laughed before bringing her face closer to mine, sealing our lips in a sweet kiss.

I gave in to her and kissed her back with all my love for her, leaving both of us breathless when we pulled apart.

"So does that mean you share my feelings?" I asked with a nervous chuckle.

She giggled at my nervousness and smiled.

"Yes, Lukas. I love you too." And with that we headed out of the Hall, hand in hand, to resolve the conflict that The Admin had caused.
