Oh by the way the " * " means time skip•Jesse's POV•
"Can this week just be over yet?" I complained to myself as I sat in my office, finishing off some spreadsheets and forms.
It was only Tuesday and I already wished it was weekend again, but alas, I have duties to attend to.
Being in charge of Beacon Town was no cake walk, but someone had to do the job. To make life easier, I hired an intern, Radar, to help with any events the town held or just to simply assist me while sorting out files and paperwork in the office.

The week dragged on slowly but surely. I couldn't be happier that today was Friday.
"Ah. Finally. Some rest from all this stress." I sigh to myself.
... I wonder if any of my friends are available this weekend?
Probably not.
With axel and Olivia both running their own towns, I doubt they'd be up for a visit.Petra was off doing all her... shady... deals or whatever you want to call them.
And Lukas was tucked away in his log cabin, writing his book.
I haven't seen any of my friends for months... I miss them.
Guess I have yet another weekend to spend with me, myself, and I.
•Lukas's POV•
'And so, our mighty hero, Jesse, saved us again, restoring peace to Beacon Town and all who lived there.'
No that doesn't sound right...I was trying to write the perfect ending to my new book, but to no avail. Every attempt I made just ended up sounding stupid. (Same Lukas.)
Ugh I need to get out of this house.
I've been cooped up in here for weeks without stepping foot outside into the sunlight.
I really need to spend some time in the sun...That being said, I closed my book and set my quill on top of its leather cover. As I made my way to the door, I grabbed my leather jacket, from where it was draped over a wooden chair. Seeing as I wasn't part of the Ocelots anymore, I tailored a new one, and to be honest, this one is way better.
I set out on a narrow dirt trail, heading towards Beacon Town. It was a pleasant, scenic route to the town, as I passed a lush, green forest that was bustling with plants and thriving with animals. The sound of singing birds soothed me. The light breeze was so gentle and calming.
'Damn. I should come out more often! This is great!'
I thought to myself. After walking for a few more minutes, I was standing in front of Beacon Towns' huge gates.
One was slightly ajar, so I slipped in and made my way to the centre of the town.
Yet... I found myself headed for Jesse's house. Maybe I should visit her? I'm sure she would appreciate some company.
I bet she hasn't seen any of her friends for months... neither have I.I climbed up onto her porch and stood in front of her door, lifting my hand to knock 3 times. I could hear some shuffling from the other side of the wall as Jesse opened the door.
"Lukas?"
She looked surprised, but her surprise soon melted away as she grew excited and threw her arms around me in a welcoming hug.
I chuckled at her enthusiasm as I returned her gesture."Good to see you too Jess." I said as she let go.
It might just be me, but I swear I saw her cheeks warm up.
