Chapter 13: the answer is obvious

I stood there staring at the ring he just pulled out of his pocket, to shocked to say anything. Is this really happening?

"You're kind of scaring me. Say something."-Adam told me.

Finally coming to my senses I screamed yes, after he put the ring on my finger I jumped in his arms.

We kissed passionately and I could feel him smile. I can't believe I'm getting married to the most wonderful guy in this planet.

"Are you sure you want to marry me?"-I asked.

"I'm positive. I love you so much"-he said and started kissing me again.

"I love you to."-I said in between kisses.

~next day~

"Morning"-I said to Conner.

"Good morning"-he replied.

"What do you want for breakfast?"-I asked him.

"Can we go to IHop?"-he asked smiling sweetly at me.

"Sure, but first go brush your teeth."

"Ok"-he sighed.

He got up from his bed and went to the bathroom. I went to the living room and sat down in the couch next to Adam.

"We're going to IHop so get changed"-I told Adam.

"What you don't like what I'm wearing?"

"Well if you want to go to IHop in boxers knock yourself out."

"Fine."-he said getting up and going to the guest room.

"I'm ready"-Conner said running to me.

"You look so cute Conner"-I told him kissing his cheek.

"Eeew"-he said wiping his cheek.

Adam came in the room and picked Conner up.

"Have you told him the news?"-Adam asked me.

"No, you want to tell him?"-I asked.

"Sure"-he answered.

"What are you guys talking about?"-Conner asked.

"We're getting married"-Adam told him smiling big.

"Yay!"-Conner said clapping his hands. "What does getting married mean?"

I rolled my eyes and smiled. "It means that now we'll officially be a family"-I said.

"Oh, yay!!!"-he cheered.

"Do you like your pancakes?"-I asked Conner.

"They're yummy"-he said while stuffing his face with more pancakes.

After Conner finished his pancakes I had to go over to Ashley's to tell her the news.

Adam took Conner to the park next to Ashley's and I went over to her apartment.

I knocked the door and she opened it fast. I hid my hand with the ring behind my back.

"Hey Sophie. What's up?"-she asked letting me inside her apartment.

"Oh you know, the usual."-I said acting weird.

"Ok...and by that you mean?"-she asked.

"Well...umm, I'm getting married!!"-I yelled as I go my hand out of my back and showed her the ring.
