28 - Forever

"Auntie, what is this?" Lan Yin asked as she fiddled around with a bottle. Wen Qing smiled as she bent down.

"This medicine ball is made from a peony. It is helpful for fever, cough and respiratory tract illness. However, you shouldn't feed this to a pregnant person." Wen Qing said as she held a peony flower for Lan Yin to see.

"Oh, I know this flower is poisonous" Lan Yin said and Wen Qing smiled and pat her head "Mn, you should never consume it like that"

"Okay!" Lan Yin nodded before going to the next bottle. Just then, Wei Ying came in. "Wen Qing, long time no see!"

Lan Zhan glared at Wei Ying who awkwardly chuckled "I meant Maiden Wen..." Wen Qing smiled and shook her head.

Wei Ying went over to Lan Yin as Lan Yin recited all that she have learnt. "Wow! My A-Yin is amazing! How did you teach her so much so quickly?"

"Wei WuXian, you still dare to say? The moment you came here yesterday you and Hanguang Jun left the three alone and made so much noise! Master had to put up a sound barrier!" Wen Qing scolded.

Wei Ying laughed embarrassedly and nudged Lan Zhan "It's all this guy's fault" Wen Qing got the chills from too much information. She didn't need to know that.

Wei Ying then looked at Lan Yin "A-Yin, let's go see master together" but Lan Yin shook her head "Mama, I greeted her this morning. Can I stay with Auntie?"

Wei Ying pouted "Wen Qing! What have you fed her to bewitch her!" Wen Qing was about to smack Wei Ying when Wei Ying giggled.

"Just kidding! A-Yin, of course you can stay here. I'll be back later with papa alright?" Wei Ying pat her head and Lan Yin happily nodded.

Lan Zhan and Wei Ying then walked past the training field and say their two boys playing with Wen Ning. They were having an archery competition.

Wei Ying clapped as he jumped over "A-Han! You got the bullsmark! My son is so amazing!" Lan Han happily smiled and hugged Wei Ying.

Meanwhile Lan Xing looked at his father for some recognition and Lan Zhan pat his head, nodding, telling him he did a good job.

"Wen Ning!" Wei Ying called as he jumped over and sized him up, squeezing his arm "Wow, look at you. Your stance is so steady and you have gotten stronger"

Wen Ning was sweating from the angry glare directed at him. "Haha... Wei GongZi, you're finally back!"

Wei Ying nodded and started telling Wen Ning what happened when Lan Zhan dragged him away. Wen Ning smiled and bent down to the two boys.

"Shall we compete sparring next?" The two boys looked at each other and immediately jumped, running to get their wooden sword.

"Eh, Lan Zhan! Slow down! I didn't even get to talk to Wen Ning!" Wei Ying pouted and exclaimed.

Lan Zhan slowed down and looked at Wei Ying, then hugged him tight. "Ahhh" Wei Ying giggled "Lan Zhan, I love you so much"

"I love you too, Wei Ying" Lan Zhan said, not wanting to let Wei Ying go. He can hug Wei Ying forever and ever.

Wei Ying chuckled as he gave Lan Zhan a peck. "Lan Er Ge Ge, I'm feeling a little horny and I want to cuddle a lot after that"

"Mn, quickly meet Master first" Lan Zhan said and Wei Ying giggled "Then you have to break the hug and we can quickly talk to master before going back to our room"

"Hm" Lan Zhan replied, still not letting go. Wei Ying chuckled as they waddled slowly to BaoShan's room.

After some time, Wei Ying frowned and pouted "Lan Zhan, we're both hard already so stop torturing both of us and let's hurry and greet master already"

Lan Zhan kissed Wei Ying before letting go of the hug. Instead, he held Wei Ying's hand tightly as they hurried to BaoShan's room.

After greeting BaoShan, she looked at Wei Ying a little more before smiling "All right, go do your thing, we'll talk later"

Wei Ying smiled sheepishly as the two of them bowed before Lan Zhan pulled Wei Ying out.

"Ahh Lan Er Ge Ge, you're in such a rush" Wei Ying chuckled. Lan Zhan nodded his head and when they fell on the bed together, Lan Zhan hugged Wei Ying tight.

"Lan Zhan, aren't we going to cuddle after?" Wei Ying asked and Lan Zhan slightly smirked "You're impatient too"

Wei Ying blushed as he hit Lan Zhan's chest "You"re shameless" Lan Zhan kissed Wei Ying "And you're shameless too"

Wei Ying pouted while Lan Zhan smiled and kissed him as he started undressing the both of them.

Just like this, 20 years have passed. Lan QiRen retired to the back mountains but little did the disciples know he wasn't there. Jin GuangShan had disappeared too.

It might not be surprising but Lan Zhan and Wei Ying achieved immortality, like BaoShan SanRen. Lan XiChen and Jiang Cheng too.

Hence both couples retreated to seclusion, though they often go on night hunts, especially with the next generation disciples.

SiZhui moved to Carp Tower with Jin Ling while JingYi moved to Ouyang Sect with ZiZhen.

Lan Yin went under Wen Qing to learn more about medicine while Lan Han took over the Lan Sect at the young age of 24.

Meanwhile, Jiang Cheng's little brother took over the Jiang Sect and unfortunately, Uncle Jiang and Madam Yu has passed.

It was because of this that the four decided to go into seclusion, to minimise contact and the pain they will feel when they watch their other loved ones pass away.

Oh, and about Lan Xing? It might be because he wad born in the heavens that his core was slightly different, a mixture of both.

At the age of 10, he accidentally went up to the heavens. It took him some time to learn how to travel back and forth.

In the end, he fell in love with Wang Yuan. Hence, they got married in the heavens and Lan Xing ended up staying there.

Most might have been physically separated but they still meet up once in a while and the 20 years they spent as a fun loving family will remain in their memories forever.
