"Worthy... No... How could you be worthy? You're all killers." A distored voice said from behind us, sending a chill down my spine. We all stood up an turned around, seeing a mangled Legion robot standing there.

"Stark." Steve said, his voice holding an edge.

"JARVIS." Stark called but there was no response.

"I'm sorry, I was a-sleep. Or...I was a-dream?" The robot tilted his split open head.

Tony started tapping on his watch, mumbling to himself "Reboot, Legionnaire OS, we got a buggy suit."

"There was a terrible noise...and I was tangled in... in...Like strings on me. I had to kill the other guy. He was a good guy."

"You killed someone?" I asked.

The robot shrugged, "It wouldn't have been my first call. But then, down in the real world we're faced with ugly choices."

"Who sent you?" Thor husked.

"I can see a suit of armor around the world." Tony's voice said through the robot.

Bruce gasped, "Ultron!"

"Okay Avengers, In the flesh. Or, no, not yet. But Not this...The chrysalis. But I'm ready. I'm on a mission." Ultron purred.

"What mission?" Nat asked, pointing her gun at him.

"Peace in my time." The smirk was evident in Utlron's voice, a bunch of robot legions flying through the walls straight towards us.

I pulled Nat out of the way as a legion came right at her. We both fell over the bar counter, our chest rising and falling.

"I told you I didn't like parties." I joked.

Nat playfully rolled her eyes, "You ready to do this?"

I nodded. I helped her to her feet and we jumped over the bar counter. I jumped on a robots back, ripping the head off before going on to the next one.

"Cap!" I called, throwing the man his shield.
He caught it mid air, knocking one of the robots through the window. I pulled down a robot flying up behind Clint, smashing it into the ground. It exploded and I ran towards Ultron who stood watching the destruction. I went to grab him when another robot knocked me to the ground. It grabbed my head in it's metal hand, slamming my face against the window. I hissed, grabbing it's throat and pulling it, breaking it in half. I pushed the pieces away from, looking to see Thor smash the last robot.

"Well that was dramatic! I'm sorry, I know you mean well. You just didn't think it through. You want to protect the world, but you don't want it to change. How is humanity saved if it's not allowed to...evolve?" Ultron asked, picking up one of the dismembered headds, "Not of These? These Coffits! There's only one path to peace: The Avengers' extinction."

Thor threw his hammer at Ultron and smashed him to pieces. Ultron starts singing a creepy lullaby, "I had strings, but now I'm free. There are no strings on me, no strings on me."
"So, what the hell was that?" Steve glared at Tony.

THIRD PERSON POV

After Ultron uploaded his subconscience to the network, he left in a new body to meet the Maximoff twins.

"Talk. And if you are wasting our time..." Wanda demanded.

"Did you know this church is in the exact center of the city? The elders decreed it so that everyone could be equally close to God. I like that. The geometry of belief."

There was a beat before Ultron spoke again, "You're wondering why you can't look inside my head."

Wanda narrowed her eyes, "Sometimes it's hard. But sooner or later, every man shows himself."
