YOUR POV

"Drop to 2600, heading 0-3-0." Steve told Sam who was piloting the quinjet.

"I hope you're right about this, Cap. Or we're gonna land a lot faster than you want to." Sam chuckled.

The Quinjet passed through some sort of camouflage force field into Wakanda's territory and lands at the airfield outside the palace. Sam hit a button and the ramp on the back of the ship was lowered, all of us descending down.

"Should we bow?" I heard Bruce ask and I snickered to myself.

"Yeah, he's a king." Rhodey said seriously.

"Seems like I'm always thanking you for something." Steve shook hands with the king.

I almost burst out laughing when Bruce
awkwardly bowed down to the king. Sam tried to stifle his laughs too as he held onto my body for support.

"What are you doing?" Rhodey asked in mock shock.

"Uh, we don't do that here. So how big of an assault can we expect?" T'Challa asked us, leading us towards the administrative building.

"It's beautiful here." Nat commented walking next to me.

"Yeah," I hummed, "In it's own little world. Must be nice."

"Uh, sir, I think you can expect quite a big assault." Bruce stuttered.

"You will have my Kingsguard, the Border Tribe, the Dora Milaje, and...A semi-stable, 100-year-old man." T'Challa smiled, gesturing towards Bucky who walked in the room with a large grin. He looked more so himself than the last time I saw him. Bucky instantly went over to Steve and the two friends shared a hug.

When all the catching up between the two were done, T'Challa led us to his sister lab where Vision, Wanda and Bruce had gone.

"How long do you need to get the stone out?" Steve asked the smaller woman.

"As long as you can give me." Shuri, as she introduced herself, said.

An alarm went off, the high frequency hurting my sensitive ears as Okoye looked down at the bead in her palm, a project of the globe pulling up with a pulsing location marker, "Something's entered the atmosphere."

"Hey, Cap, we got a situation here." Sam said through the coms.

All of us glanced outside the window to see three large ships slam against the forcefield protecting the city, creating a loud boom as they did. The shock waves and debris from the ship landings destroy acres of forest and boil up against the dome.

"It's too late. We need to destroy the stone now." Vision huffed, trying and struggling to sit up on the exam table.

"Vision, get your ass back on the table."
Natasha told the android.

"We will hold them off." I said, giving a nod to Steve. We all ran out of the lab, minus Vision and Wanda who was going to protect Shuri with a few guards.

"I got two heat signatures breaking through the tree line." Rhodey said through the coms as I landed next to him and Sam.

The carrier pilots swerve into U-turns, causing their craft to tilt and allowing the practiced soldiers to slide over one side into a run, never coming to a complete halt, Proxima standing at the front lines.

Black Panther, Captain America, Black Widow and I walked to the edge of the barrier, where Proxima Midnight and Cull Obsidian, a larger, more brute alien stand. Proxima tests the strength of the barrier by drawing her sword across it.

"Where's your other friend?" I asked with a small laugh under my mask.

"You will pay for his life with yours. Thanos will have that stone." Proxima snarled towards me.

"That's not gonna happen." Natasha clenched her jaw.

"You are in Wakanda now. Thanos will have nothing but dust and blood." The king said full of confidence and had nothing but trust in us and his warriors.

Proxima smirked, "We... have blood to spare." She brandishes her sword with a snarl, and the ships behind her start raising their outer hulls to allow their "passengers" to disembark.

"Did they surrender?" Bucky asked sarcastically as we all walked back to the front lines, me throwing glances over my shoulder just in case.

"Not exactly." Steve sighed.

Proxima drops her sword arm down in the signal to attack, a couple thousand blind alien outriders running out.

"What the hell." I said flatly, astonished by the sheer amount spilling out of the ships still.

"Looks like we pissed her off." Nat blew out a breath.

"They're killing themselves!" Okoye gasped in horror, all of watching with sick stomachs as the outriders pushed their limbs through the forcefield, arms and legs being burned off.

As a few Outriders managed to squeeze through intact, the Border Tribe take a knee and raise their shields. The Kingsguard behind them level their sonic spears over their comrades' shoulders, and on Black Panther's command, fire at the approaching monsters. The Winter Soldier uses his M-249 machine gun, and Bruce fires the Hulkbuster's hand repulsors.

"Cap, if these things circle the perimeter and get in behind us... there's nothing between them and Vision." I told the super soldier, my palms getting sweaty as the anticipation made me want to vomit.

"Them we better keep 'em in front of us." Steve replied grimly.

"How do we do that?" Okoye asked her king.

"We open the barrier. On my signal, open North-West Section Seventeen."

Cap readied his small wakandan shield, bouncing on the balls of his feet.

"WAKANDA FOREVER!" T'Challa screamed, charging the barrier.

The Outriders pour through the now open barrier, distracted from trying to find any other access. We all charged forward, aliens meeting us head on like savages.

THIRD PERSON POV

The remaining Avengers and Wakandans are struggling against the Outriders. The Winter Soldier goes down, and fights off Outrider fangs snapping at his head. Captain America and the Black Panther still fight side-by-side. Y/n and Natasha fought well, each of them moving fluidly like a well oiled machine. War Machine hovers over the breach, pouring ammunition into the flood of bodies until a huge hammer -- Cull Obsidian's -- knocks him out of the sky and to the ground. The Hulkbuster is dogpiled and pinned.

"There's too many of them! AAAAHHHHH!" Bruce screamed as Y/n was tackled by a few of the aliens, hissing and grunting as the aliens claws scratched her flesh.

Suddenly, a large beam of rainbow-hued light lands in the middle of the action, and an ax flies out of it, encompassed with lightning and tearing through the Outriders, freeing the heroes. It flies back to the light and into its master's hand just as the beam cuts out, revealing Thor, Groot and Rocket who chambers a round in his large gun. Black Widow, Captain America, Spider-Woman and the Black Panther pause in astonishment. Proxima Midnight and Cull Obsidian pause in apprehension.

"BRING ME THANOS!" Thor screamed charging towards the massive hordes of outriders, followed by Groot and Rocket, lightning gathering around him until he finally launches himself into the air, lands in the densest concentration of Outriders and makes a crater where they had stood.
