6 months ago Barry's 1st day into the Speed Force~
When Barry went into the speed force with Nora, his mother to set balance with the universe. Barry slowly walked into the portal which is where he would enter his home for 6 months... but to Barry, it was 6 years of his life.

As a bright light shined into his face while he walked into the Speed Force; he used his hand to cover the illuminated light in his face. Barry was able to recognize a small house that he grew up in while the bright light went away from his face. He started to walk slowly into his childhood house with a bit of hesitation in his body movements. As he reached for the door he realized every bit of the house was exactly the same when his mother had passed.
When Barry finally built up the courage to open the door; he was welcome by his mom and his dad. They both hugged him for a split second he thought he would never see his parents again; they were both healthy and well. He gave them both a hug and at that moment he felt home; there were no words to describe his hug he gave his parents. While a sweet and gentle tear of pure joy streamed down his face and a soft smile started to form on his face. A couple of days have passed and he got to spend those days with just his parents. His heartfelt content with happiness as they got to catch up for what they have both missed but, he did leave out a few parts.
"So, Sport are you back to work anytime soon?" Henry joked
"Yeah, Dad I think today I will" Barry responded
"I don't think it's healthy to spend all your time with your parents, Barry" Nora asked with a smile on her face
"Yeah... I don't think it's either" Barry teased
LATER THAT DAY~
Barry decides to walk to work since he didn't have his powers anymore but, it gave Barry an excuse to slow down and just stop for a moment. Barry couldn't be happier than he already was that was until... Barry bumped into a beautiful, sweet, kind, and young lady he had recognized.
"Caitlin is that you-" Barry said in shock
Caitlin looked confused at Barry
"How do you know my name?" Caitlin asked questioning Barry
Barry tried to make up a ridiculous excuse
"Oh um.. I'm fond of your work Dr. Snow.." Barry said trying to not make it awkward
"Really? Well, thank you, Mr.?" Caitlin replied
"Barry, Barry Allen" Barry said with a smile
"Well it's nice to meet you, Mr. Allen," Caitlin said trying to pick up with papers she had just dropped
"Same to you as well Dr. Snow!" Barry said while picking up Caitlin's papers
"Thank you," Caitlin said with a smile
" Um, Caitlin do you wanna maybe get a cup of coffee with me? My shift at CCPD doesn't start until an hour so. I would really like to get to know you..." Barry started trying to not make it awkward that he already knew Cait.
"Yeah, sure I would love to," Caitlin said as they walked to Jitters, kind of awkwardly.
As they entered Jitters, Caitlin began to sit down at a small table that just fit two people. Barry got in line and started to order for both Caitlin and himself. As Barry began to walk over to their table; Caitlin started to question him but, in a joking matter.
"How did you know my order" Caitlin began to tease while raising an eyebrow.
"Oh- right just a lucky guess I suppose" Barry lied with a smile
"Well, you have really lucky guesses because you are correct!" Caitlin said shocked
"Well I am a CSI so I think I have a good understanding for that type of thing" Barry smiled
Barry and Caitlin started talking and having a really good time with each other. Caitlin was starting to get to know Barry and Barry learned some new things about her as well. Barry thought it was nice to have someone to talk to, who really understands him. Barry didn't know it yet but, listening to Caitlin just talk about her life was so interesting to him. Time started to stop for the two as they talked about their fears, likes, dislikes, childhood, relationships, work, hobbies, and anything else they could think of. Barry and Caitlin both really enjoyed having someone to talk to about anything; they both felt a sense of true happiness. But that all came to an end when Barry got a phone call from his boss...
"Heyyyyyy Captain what's up?" Barry saying in awkwardness knowing that he was in trouble from his boss.
"Allen get over here now!" Captain said demanding
Barry hung up the phone wishing he had his speed back again. Barry gave this look on his face and Caitlin knew exactly what he meant.
"I know, here why don't you take my number I had so much fun with you Barry in a short amount of time. I would love to see you again!" Caitlin said meaning every word
"Thank you, Caitlin, for understanding, and yeah we will have to arrange something together.. well I have to go bye!" Barry said rushing out the door
Barry started to sprint to the precinct wishing he had his speed again... he made it just in time before the captain could yell at him anymore. Barry started to get to work by following up on a case. But in the back of his mind, he wished he was still at Jitters with Caitlin...
