As a pool of blood surrounds Barry and Caitlin; "Barry..." Caitlin says in a weak and painful voice. Barry then listens to the sound of her gentle voice; then manages to pick her up and makes his way to bring Caitlin over to the medical bed. Once, Caitlin reaches the medical bed Cisco then detaches the meta-human cuffs from her injured wrists. As Cisco and Harry frantically hook her up to the monitors in the lab; Caitlin then starts to feel a gentle hand grasping her own. She softly turns her head to see Barry; looking more in pain than she is in. Caitlin then closes her eyes, and starts to feel cold air consuming her while her hair starts to turn into a platinum blonde. Once, Caitlin opens her eyes they turn into a crystal white color. Frost takes over Caitlin's body to heal her from her abusing that Thawne did to her.

All of the marks, cuts, and bruises start to fade away from Caitlin's body; while this is all happening Barry can't help but lock his graze on Caitlin's delicate body. This makes Barry rub her hand gently with his thumb as she is healing. Once every injury is healed on her body; Frost starts to change back into Caitlin. Returning her amber-brown hair and her chocolate brown eyes; from all the torture that has happened to Caitlin, her body starts to feel drained so she takes this opportunity to rest. Once, Caitlin starts to drift off to sleep; Cisco starts to check her vitals and makes sure that she is okay. Then all of a sudden, the meta-human alarm starts to go off in the background.
"Jitters there is a massive energy source!" Cisco says while running to the monitors
"Okay, I'm on it" Wally states as he changes into his suit and dashes out the door leaving a trail of lightning behind him.
Barry then realizes that he no longer has his speed and doesn't get to fight crime; "Hey Barr, it's going to be okay" Joe says with a nod which comforts Barry a little bit.
"I know," Barry says as he puts his gaze on Caitlin resting on the medical bed.
Later~
Night time~
"Alright, Barr I think it's time we all head out for the day; are you sure you want to stay here?" Joe asks while raising an eyebrow at him
"Yes, I'm sure I'm not letting her out of my sight," Barry states while keeping his gaze on Caitlin.
"Okay then, good night son," Joe says as he, Iris, Wally, Cisco, and Harry walks out of the cortex; which just leaves Barry and Caitlin in an empty STAR Labs.
Barry then goes over to make sure that Caitlin is okay with her vitals and everything; once he has checked that he goes over to sit in a chair across from her. Barry glances from time to time to make sure she is okay; by the fact, it just breaks Barry apart to see her like this. Just having a slight thought of Caitlin even screaming, tears Barry apart it even breaks his heart in the process. Seeing Caitlin in this condition, he makes a vow that he will not let anyone touch her again! He can't stand the thought of someone that he's deeply in love with be in pain... Caitlin deserves the world, not this life Barry thought. As time passes of Barry being lost in his thoughts of Caitlin; he starts to watch Caitlin sleep peacefully; he himself started to get tried.
