Once, they had arrived Cisco came into the cortex with fumes coming out of his ears. "Where were you guys?!?" Cisco announced in an angry tone
"We were in Star City; why do you ask, Cisco?" Caitlin asked confused to what was going on
"Because Caitlin, Wally, and I almost became fish food. King Shark attacked Central City today" Cisco said as his temper began to cool down
"Why didn't you send us an alert about the attack?" Barry asked as he wrapped his arm around Caitlin's shoulder
"I did! 13 times to be exact; you didn't get the alert?" Cisco asked as his mood suddenly changed from anger to confusion.
"No, we didn't get any type of alert today; is everyone alright?" Caitlin asked as worry filled her eyes
"Yes, everyone is fine... Wally took a beating though from King Shark." Cisco began to wonder why their alert systems weren't on
"Let me go check on him," Caitlin said as she walked in the med bay noticing Wally laying down on the medical bed.
Leaving just Cisco and Barry in the cortex; Barry needed to clear the air. "Hey man, I'm really sorry that we weren't here to help you with the attack," Barry said as he placed his hand on Cisco's shoulder to bring some ease towards his best friend.
As Cisco felt Barry's hand resting on his shoulder; his whole body got a vibe from Barry... As blue and purple light began to shine around Cisco; while his thoughts began to focus on what was going on around him.
