As nervous as I was, I knew that today was going to be the best day of my life; and I can't wait to marry her... As I finally finished getting ready; I then started to shakily walk down the stairs. Both of my parents were staring at me with love in their eyes. I reached the bottom of the last step of the staircase and my legs started to feel like jello; my nerves were starting to get the best of me. My parents noticed how nervous I was acting.
3rd person POV~
"Slugger, you got this! I know you, you wouldn't be this nervous if she wasn't the one. Believe me, I know the feeling" Henry said as he took a glance at his beautiful wife, Nora.
"Thank you, Dad I just want every moment to be perfect..." Barry said with a meaningful smile
"It will, my beautiful boy it will; you will never forget this moment. When you say each word to her as you're down on one knee; each second will be timeless for both of you. Just speak from the heart, Barry because I know that you are each other's hearts. You both pump with blood from one another; it will be perfect." Nora said as she gave her son a hug while sending Henry a loving smile.
"Thank you, both of you this is making me feel a lot better. I'm ready to start this journey with her..." Barry said as a tear escaped his eyes.
"Now, go get her my beautiful boy..." Nora said she let go of her son's embrace
"I will and I will never let her go," Barry said with a blushing smile as he began to exit their house by walking backward keeping his eyes on his parents, and accidentally hitting his back on his house door like a klutz. "I'm fine!" Barry said not letting his nerves escape again but little did he know that they were.
