After our hearty brunch, Jacob needed to left for his Alpha summoned him to their pack house for an important meeting. He really did not give me enough details to figure out what their meeting is all about but if I am gonna based it in the dim expression before he left, I can say that it is not good one.

If I am gonna be honest with myself, I can say that I really want to spend this day with my 'boyfriend' but I don’t want to sound clingy especially that we literally just met last night. Kaya naman nang tanungin ako nito kung gusto ko bang sumama patungo sa pack house ay agad akong tumanggi. Dinahilan ko na lang na masakit pa ang buong katawan ko at gusto ko ring maging pamilyar sa buong bahay.

So with his bikes roaring like a tiger down the street, I was left alone in his house or more like our house wondering what can I do today. The whole house is surprisingly squeaky clean, it seems that he already did the cleaning before I wake up. I can't help but smile at the thought. I can’t really imagine Jacob holding a vacuum cleaner, that is seriously going to be a memorable sight to behold.

I volunteered to wash the dishes after our brunch. But now that I am done cleaning up the kitchen, I decided to look around the house to make myself familiar with it.

I can’t help but smile upon noticing how neat and simple his house is. And I guess I judge him too early last night when I said that he didn’t have motorcycle parts around the house. He did have those motorcycle parts but it was neatly kept in his garage.

I am busy checking out few of those MC parts that I honestly don’t understand what are the uses for when I heard the doorbell rings from the outside. Mukhang isinara ni Jacob ang pinto ng garahe bago ito umalis kaya naman kailangan ko pang bumalik sa front door upang mapagbuksan kung sino man ang nasa kabilang pinto.

Habang naglalakad patungo sa sala ng bahay ay hindi ko maiwasan ang makaramdam ng kakaibang takot. The person outside cannot be Jacob since he has his own key. Also if it is one of the people from Jacob's club, I should have heard a noise coming from their bikes. Those Harley’s bikes are too noisy to be discreet. Habang papalapit sa pinto ay nagtalo ang kalooban ko kung bubuksan ko ba o hindi.

I decided to take a small peek in the peep hole first that way I will be able to see who is the person on the other side of the door. Kumunot ang noo ko ng makitang wala namang tao sa kabilang bahagi ng pinto. Kahit puno ng pagtataka ay pinili ko itong buksan. Maalinsangang panahon ang unang bumati sa akin pagbukas ko ng pinto. Inikot ko ang tingin sa buong lugar subalit wala namang tao sa paligid. Who rings the doorbell then?

I let out a sigh of relief upon seeing that there is no threat around, that is when I notice a white envelope in the floor. Kumunot ang noo ko. A message? Yumuko ako upang damputin ang envelope ng makaramdam ako ng tila matulis na bagay na dumaan sa gilid ng pisngi ko. I immediately straighten up with the white envelop in my hand and look around with fear.

Naramdaman ko ang pagagos ng pulang likido sa gilid ng aking pisngi ngunit nanatili akong sa tapat ng pinto habang inoobserbahan ang paligid. Nang wala pa din akong makita ay pumasok ako sa loob ng bahay at saka inilock ang pinto. Puno ng takot na sumandal ako sa dahon ng pinto habang nakatitig sa envelope na hawak ko. Few droplets of my blood trickles on it, staining the white paper with red color.

Tumakbo ako tungo sa second floor kung nasaan ang master’s bedroom. I need to call Jacob. Ramdam ko ang panginginig ng mga daliri ko habang idinadial ang numero nito. It takes only 2 rings for him to pick up the phone and that is when I heard his comforting voice on the other line.

“Jacob, you need to go home,” Bungad ko agad rito.  I'm trying my best not to sounds so scared but my shaky tone of my voice gave it away.

“What happened?” Ramdam ko ang pagbahid ng pagaalala sa tono ng boses nito.
