I'm sitting on Regina's porch or should I say our porch. Just looking out at the town and the few people walking around. It feels like a ghost town right now. I was expecting more people to be out doing something since it's Sunday. The workweek was long, filled with paperwork and more paperwork. Every day there's just more and more paperwork, where it comes from I have no idea. I'm so lost in my thoughts I can't hear Regina calling my name.

"Emma! Emma!"

"Yes!"

"Em haven't you been hearing me call you for the past five minutes. I almost thought you left for something"

"Sorry Gina I was just thinking"

"Ok, I'm ready to go meet your parents"

"Alright let's go they're excited to meet you"

*On the Road*

I'm nervous to see my parents, I haven't seen or talked to them since I left New York. I know they're going to be hurt that I kept Regina a secret from them and then now I have to tell them they're going to be grandparents. My racing thoughts are stopped by Regina's hand on my thigh.

"Emma, relax your parents aren't going to be mad."

"Let's hope not."

We got to my parent's house and they're already waiting on the porch.

"Well hello, Emma it's so good to see you since you don't like to call or visit." My mom says pulling me into a big hug. "Hey kiddo," my dad says.

"Hey, Mom Dad this is my girlfriend Regina"

"Hello," she says with a shy smile.

"Oh my gosh hello nice to meet you, Regina, my name is Mary Margaret but you can just call me Mary and this is my husband David."

"It's nice to meet you two," Regina said with a smile.

"It's nice to meet you too, Emma how come you never told us she was so beautiful." I can see Regina blushing trying to hide her smile.

"Mooom"

"What! she is."

"Can we just please go inside."

"Fine oscar the grouch." We go inside and dinner is already ready for us. "The food smells good mom."

"Thank you, Emma, let's sit down and eat so you two can tell us the big news you were talking about on the phone. After we got our food and sat down I held Regina's hand.

"Well, the big news is you guys are going to be grandparents."It was dead silent after I finished my senses giving me anxiety. Then I could see tears trailing from my mom's eyes with a big smile. "I'm going to be a grandparent, I can't believe it. Wow Emma this is really crazy!"

"Congrats kid!"

"Thanks, dad."The whole dinner was honestly just my mom and Regina talking about the baby shower and the nursery."I'm gonna take Emma to the garage to show her the new car I'm working on"

"Ok, David" I let out a sigh of relief. I'm glad my dad got me out of there. I thought my head was going to explode if I heard another squeal come out of my mom's mouth. "Thanks, dad you really saved me there."

"No problem, so tell me what's wrong."

"What do you mean? Nothing is wrong."

"Well something's bothering you Emma and if I see it Regina is going to see it, so spit it out."

"I hate Storybrooke and I hate my job."

"I knew you would hate that town, sometimes you're just like me. I couldn't stay there. Not enough action or things to do."
