Welcome Home

It's Regina's last day in the hospital today and we are excited to take our boys home for the first time. They are super healthy and so cute. I love spending time with them and holding them in my arms. Both of our parents came to the hospital to see them and they were surprised to see Mateo. We had to explain to them that they were twins but not identical. I got everything ready for them when I wasn't at the hospital with Regina. Buying extra clothes, another crib, and a second car seat. As we get the baby's ready we say bye and thank you to the hospital staff before we leave. "I can't wait to get them to the house," Regina says to me rubbing my hand with her thumb.

"Me too babe." When we walk into the house the boys start to cry

"Em can you feed Mateo. There is a bottle in the bottle bag."

"Yeah, no problem." I take him out of his car seat and get the bottle to feed him. "There you going to buddy I know you're hungry. He chugs his bottle in a matter of minutes. "Wow, you are definitely my son." I give him a kiss and burp him. After he burps I take him to the nursery to put him in his crib. When I lay him down he immediately starts crying. "What's wrong Mateo?" I ask him knowing he can't answer me. I pick him and sit on the couch next to Regina.

"I wonder why he's crying?" She asks.

"I have no idea Henry is out like a light."

I move Mateo's head so that his ear is against my heart. He starts to calm down and falls asleep. Put my finger in his hand and he grabs it. Me and Regina got to put them in their cribs and Mateo starts crying again but Henry stays asleep. I pick him up and sway my body trying to calm him down. He grabs on tight to my shirt not letting go."It's ok buddy Papi's here I'm not going anywhere ok. I'm always going to be here I promise. He goes back to sleep and I go to the bedroom and lay down on the bed with his head on my chest. Regina lays down on the bed and gives me a kiss on my cheek. "We made two handsome boys Em."

"We sure did." After a few minutes I put him in his crib with no issues and I came back to Regina passed out in the bed. I lay down with her and admire how beautiful she is. I got an idea in my hand. I'd been thinking about it for a while but with the boys on the way, I didn't have time. "Regine I'm going out for a minute I'll be back in less than ten minutes.

"Ok hurry back," She says with tiredness in her voice. I go to the car and drive to my destination. I finally get there and I walk in and immediately go to the ring I saw online. "Hello can I help you"

"Yes I ordered a ring off your website I'm here to pick it up."

"What's the name on the order?"

"Swan Emma Swan."

"Alright let me just get it for you." She comes back with the ring and opens the box."

"Is this the right ring?"

"Yes it is"

"It's a very beautiful ma'am."

"Thank you." I leave the shop and get back to the house. When I come in I see Regina on the couch typing on her laptop.

"Hey Em."

"Hey, Regina I have a surprise for you."

"Really what is it." I walk over to the couch and get on one knee. Her eyes light up. "Regina you are the love, my love. You have helped me with so much and have always been supportive of me. You are the love of my life. Thank you for giving me two amazing sons. I can never repay you for the joy you have given me. Regina Mills will you marry me." She looks at me with tears running down her cheeks.

"Emma-"
