Different Shades

The air filled with laughter from the two women enjoying their lunch date with their baby girls. Even though one was worried about what the future was for her daughter, she still found time to feel the sadness with her friend. Someone she could go to for anything. It was nice. It was needed.

Rose pov:

Sunflower played over and over again on my phone. I didn't won't to pick it up because I was out with Savannah. She needed this, and so did I. I love playdates with Kayla, and Lilly. She also loves playdates with Cass.

"Sweetie if you need to answer it, go right ahead." Savannah says fixing Kayla shirt

I shook my head no. "Its okay I want us to talk, and have a good time."

She laughed, shaking her head. Her faced deemed.

"Yelich, how did the shoot go?" savannah asked

I looked next to me, and Christian had taken a seat.

"it went good, I need to talk to Rose alone if that is all right?" He asked

Savannah smiled softly, and looked at us both. "Of course, Kayla and I need to get home and discuss things with daddy."

Christian gets up, helping Savannah get the baby together and he paid for our lunches. I watched as they argued about giving him money back. Christian of course said no it wasn't a big deal.

Savannah, and I strolled our daughters to the cars. She is going to get through this, and Corey is going to show why Kayla is more of his then Dukes. Christian helped me get Lilly in the car, and looked at me.

"Baby, listen Claire is back and so happened she was at the photoshoot." He says looking down

"Did something happen, that I should know?" my body shook a little bit

Christian shook his head "No, no I don't want her I just thought you should know."

My arms found their way around his waist. My head rested on his chest. I didn't won't to leave I wanted to stay in his arms.

"I have a question, if anything happened between us you wouldn't take Lilly away from me would you?" I softly asked

I felt his body tense up. His hands gripped my arms pushing me aways "No, what why in the hell would I ever do that to you?"

I tear up a bit. "Duke, is trying to take Savannah to court if she doesn't let him see Kayla.."

"Oh that is pure bullshit, he can't do that he didn't do anything, since Kayla was born." Christian says

*back at home*

I had just put Lilly in her bouncer, she loves that thing the best gift Shane and Bailey got her. Christian was outside on the computer. I decided to bring him some pink lemonade. I made my way outside, and I sit down next to hime giving him the drink.

"Thank you baby, hey so you know you need to back up so we can leave for Wisconsin and you can graduate and become an author." Christian says

I softly smile, watching as the waves crashed into the shore. "Baby, I am going to be working for GMT Publishing."

Christian smiles softly "I am so proud of you baby, and to be not far from home."

"I am, really happy and I can't believe that I got accepted and soon will be making my own stories." I feel christian hand on mine.

"You are going to be a great writer, and I know you've been writing on a book about your parents." He says

Leaning over to christian, my lips press against his. "I love you baby."

He is so supportive of me, and I love being supportive of his career. I'll be starting my career and we will be starting our life together. I truly am starting to feel good again. I am surrounded by loved ones.

a/n: I know this chapter is short I am sorry but next chapter is graduation yay sooo many people and our girl is finally about to start her career.
