"Gallant"

¤▪¤

"I can tell you don't want to go," said Mike as I sat shooken at the thoughts of seeing Glitchtrap again. I let out a dry laugh in response and shook my head lightly.

"It's that obvious?" I said a moment later. Of course it was obvious, I was never completely able to hide my emotions properly. If I started to cry and didn't want to, I'd always cry anyway. Unfortunately. Something I've always hated about myself. In some situations there are times were you have to hide the emotion you're feeling, but clearly, most of time I wouldn't be able to do that.

"You're trembling like a leaf. Are you sure you want to do this?" Mike was kind. It almost made me feel better, but the fear and anxiety was stronger.

With hesitance I nodded my head. I wish he wasn't so kind to someone like me. Avery could be dead and it would be my fault. Though. . .

I still couldn't pin point on why I had even listened to him. It was all so frustrating and frightening to me. And what he had said when we were in that room alone together, "I've missed you".

What the hell did that mean? Wh-

"[F/N]!" Mike waved his hand over my face to get my attention. I blinked a few times. I must've spaced out. Whoops. I examined his expression. He looked worried. "I'm going to ask you one more time, are you really sure you want to do this?"

"Yes, Mike. I am sure." I responded quietly. I didn't sound too sure, but I hoped he wouldn't noticed. He let out a sigh and nodded. I guesse he didn't, luckily.

"It'll be 12 soon. We should make sure it's safe to move out of the office before we go." He suggested and I agreed.

He reached for the tablet placed on the desk and flipped through the cameras. He took his time and I was patient. I knew he was just making sure no animatronics would be near when we left the office. Yes, the room was close, but I knew he didn't want to risk it, and neither did I.

"All clear." He said as he places the tablet back down were it had once been. Relieved with other mixed emotions, I nodded.

He stood up from the chair and walked out of the office hesitantly. I did the same. He had stopped to make sure I was following and once getting his answer he continued on.

I never actually realized there was a sign on the door that read "Parts and Services" until now. Sometimes I was never that observant, but I should've guessed. There were animatronics pieces in the room, I just never paid them any mind.

As we made our way to the door we found it unlocked. I gulped and the dread and anxiety I felt had increased.

Here goes nothing. . .
