Hospital Room — Tony, Flaca & Antonia Goodbye
Antonia approached Oscar's bedside with tiny, hesitant steps, her little hand clutching a colorful card she'd made. With Tony's gentle help, she handed it to Oscar.
ANTONIA
(softly)
Nino, I love you. And Lily is my bestie, so I have her too.
Antonia's heart pounded in her chest as she watched his pale face. She wanted to be brave but felt small and scared inside.
Oscar smiled weakly, his eyes glistening with tears. He reached out to pull Antonia close, kissing her cheek softly.
OSCAR
You and Lily... grow up to be like me and your dad. And... don't ever date. Promise me that.
Despite the pain in his chest, Oscar summoned a faint smile for his little girl. He wanted to leave her with some hope, some silly advice to carry forward.
Antonia giggled despite the sadness.
Flaca came close, her hand steady as she rubbed Antonia's back. She looked up at Oscar with fierce tenderness.
FLACA You know Tony and I love you like family. You've been our partner in crime from day one. Aminia's got our backs, and we'll make sure your girls never forget who you are. Love you, Mano.
Flaca's heart broke a little with each word. She had fought alongside Oscar for so long. Losing him felt like losing part of herself, but she was determined to stay strong for everyone else.
Oscar's eyes welled up. He reached for her shoulder, squeezing it with warmth.
OSCAR
I love you, little sister. Never change who you are. I'm proud of you.
Tony stepped forward, trying hard to hold it together. He embraced Oscar with everything he had, breaking down in quiet sobs.
TONY
Mano... we all love you. Go in peace knowing your family is cared for. You're watching over us.
Tony's hands trembled on Oscar's back as memories rushed—childhood schemes, laughter, fights, loyalty. Saying goodbye felt impossible.
Oscar nodded, voice thick.
OSCAR
Thank you... for being the best big brother and partner in crime.
Hospital Room — Cesar Goodbye
Cesar entered quietly with Monse by his side, sitting gently next to the bed. He laid a hand on Oscar's shoulder, voice heavy but steady.
CESAR
You weren't supposed to be the first to go. You were the dad I needed, the brother who always had my back. You took in my friends when you could have said no to all those annoying teenagers. Oscar... you'll always be in my heart. I love you, and I'm so thankful.
Cesar's mind swirled with gratitude and pain. Oscar had been more than family — a foundation in chaos.
Oscar reached out and held Cesar tightly as tears spilled down Cesar's face.
