in the night
her colours
come back to me
in her eyes
I am floating
I see the blue
the water pours into my heart
the waves push through my ribs
I wake up
I know now
what is coming
I walk the halls
until I find her
in the crowd
before I think anymore
I am walking to do it
I tap her shoulder
she turns
and I almost melt
and I almost break
but somehow
I get the words out
then she looks into my eyes
I am swimming
I am alone under the sun
the tide is washing me in
then the words leave her mouth
and like that
she is talking to me
