I'm seeing her again
tonight
I'm waiting in the snowflakes
I see them
on her hair
she orders fries
she is trying not to be shy
my stomach is twisted
I forget about everything
in my mind
to focus on her
she is wearing a dress
I barely remember the food
in my mouth
I pull myself together
and I say it
will you do this with me
please
will you come to this place with me
or the place next door
tomorrow
the next day
every day
for as long as you can
I look at her
and her cheeks flush
as soon as it left my lips
I regretted it
but then
she agrees
we are together
and once it is said
I decide we always will be
