the two mated boys walked into the loud hallway. students filled them as they ran to classes on the other side of the building or loitering around and talking to others. but all talking ceased once the doors opened and the two males appeared.

jungkooks confident alpha stride was unmatched to taehyungs hesitant walk behind the bigger male. he held onto the back of jungkooks jean jacket as jungkook continued on ahead. he knew the shorter male would be nervous since it's the first time they've exposed the truth. the truth being that they were true mates.

true mates aren't rare, but it's also not rare for someone to not find their other half that they're destined to. it's sad and unfair but so is life. taehyung and jungkook have barely found out the day before and to say that taehyung was freaking out was an understatement. once he smelt jungkooks scent and looked into his doe eyes, he could've sworn he had a heart attack. according to jungkook, all he did was faint but he could've done worse.

taehyung was scared shitless. he was the true mate of jeon jungkook. everyone in school wanted to be jeon jungkooks mate. a true-blood alpha. known for giving their mates the upmost care in the world. the most superior wolf rank. meanwhile, taehyung was a barely fertile omega. an omega no one would want as a mate. but jungkook did and taehyung could tell.

by the way he looks at him. by the way he's never seen anything but a smile on his face, only for him to be slightly cold to other people. the way he ignored every girl and boy that practically threw themselves onto him. they weren't in love yet, but taehyung could definitely see him falling for the other in the near future.

"wait, isn't that the one useless omega? what the hell is he doing with jungkook?"

"why is he standing so close to jungkook? is he that desperate for attention?"

"what a little whore."

"why don't y'all give it a fucking rest? you're not exactly a virgin either, ya know?"

"shut the fuck up. he's being a little attention whore."

"i was supposed to be jungkooks mate, not that useless thing."

taehyung could feel tears welling up in his eyes. he kept his head down and quieted down his sniffling. jungkook could hear everything they're saying can't he? well, unbeknownst to taehyung, jungkook was fucking livid. taehyung was too wrapped up in his thoughts that he didn't even notice that they stopped in the middle of the hallway. jungkook turned around and looked down at the omega.

he could see the tears falling down his cheeks as more tears welled up in his little puppy dog eyes, and he couldn't help but feel soft for him. he wiped away his tears as taehyung looked up at him with his beautiful face and glassy eyes. jungkook took a hold onto taehyungs hand and walked over to the group of girls that were talking about them.

taehyung began to become nervous and hid behind jungkook, only peeking behind him to see a glimpse of the girls. they were gorgeous. he was shaking a bit since these girls never even looked in taehyungs direction before. these girls were always the ones to bully others. spread rumors and make people hate themselves. their chests were confidently puffed up and the girl
in the middle flipped her hair over her shoulder. jungkook approaches her and she's sure that he'll ditch the omega for her.

"jungkookie," she said with a pout on her face. a pout that made jungkook feel uncomfortable. "why are you playing with that dirty little omega? why don't you be mine instead?" she said in a sickeningly sweet voice.

there was a scoff heard by one of the other girls.

"oh please. aren't you tired from having your legs open for so long? jungkook found his mate, can't you tell? so stop trying so fucking hard. i'm tired of the way all of you whores act. i'm out."

the girl threw up a peace sign as she began to walk away. taehyung admired her. she stuck up for him. maybe he should talk to her later. she seems nice.

"don't listen to her kookie. i know you like me. why do you even hang out with this thing anyway?"

taehyung felt jungkook grab his wrist. he pulled taehyung in front of himself and taehyung stood there like a deer in headlights. jungkook couldn't help but coo at the innocent look on his face.

"this is my baby. my pretty little omega." jungkook presses his nose into taehyungs neck as he sniffed taehyungs scent. his eyes glowed red as he looked back at the girls. the girl backed up into the lockers as they became scared of the true-blood alpha. taehyung began to whimper and craned his neck in submission.

jungkook continued to sniff until he was content. his eyes still glowed a crimson red as he looked at the girls who were shaking in fear.

"he's my pretty little omega and if you think for a second that you're going to take him away from me then you're wrong. i will search till the ends of the earth to find him. if he ever comes to me and tells me that you made him even the tiniest bit of upset," growls began to itch at his throat so he let them out along with his next words "then we're gonna have a fucking problem."

they turned around to the whole hallway looking at them. some with gaping mouths, others with jealous looks or others who truly didn't give a shit. but the both of them didn't care. well, jungkook didn't. taehyung couldn't help but begin to furiously blush.

taehyung had tears in his eyes after everything jungkook had said. he felt reassured and he couldn't help but feel so proud to be jungkooks mate. he couldnt be a happier omega. jungkook's pretty little omega. now there's no doubt in his pretty little head that he would fall oh so helplessly in love with jeon jungkook, his fates alpha.

i know i suck at updating. sorry :(

i've been thinking about doing a part 2 to a previous chapter titled "kitten", but i can't rlly think of a mini plot to it. i'm also working on another book that i won't release until it's fully written. that way i can avoid authors block.

i rlly hope you all enjoyed this chapter.
