-Franks POV-
My head sat on Gerard's shoulder, his hand in mine. We sat together at the local park, watching the sunset. The weather was perfect for it, a light breeze brushed against my hair.
Neither of us broke the comfortable silence, the scene in front of us was perfect. He moment was a kind sort of intimate. Gerard took his arm and wrapped it around my shoulders, taking my hand in his free one. He kissed the top of my head, then laid his head in top of mine.
The park wasn't particularly populated at this time of night, so we didn't have to worry about anyone being an ass about our relationship. Either way, they're just jealous that Gerard picked me and not them, he's the definition of perfection.
"I wish this moment could last forever, it's so peaceful right now." I smiled at Gerard's comment. "Yeah, god knows that we need peace right now, it's welcomed with open arms."
"The past few weeks have been hard, tomorrow is Wednesday. We're suppose to go back to school tomorrow, I wonder what rumors we'll be welcomed with." I nodded a bit, the action was harder than I thought it'd be.
"Yeah, Mikey is the only one not going back, but my dads going to be staying with him while we're gone. I can't believe someone would have the compacting to put someone else through that..." Gerard pulled me closer to him.
"I agree, Frankie, truly. Let's just be happy that he's safe, though, ok?" I attempted another failed nod, he got the memo though.
"Speaking of school, maybe we should get going. That city isn't the safest place to be at night, especially for kids and teenagers like us." Gerard gave a small nod, helping me up. His hand stayed firmly around mine, our paces matching that of the other.
"Maybe if it's cool with your parents, you and Mikey could stay at my place tonight? For confidence sake I mean."
"That would be nice, I kinda like staying with you. Your place is nice, and it's nice waking up with someone nearby in the morning." He smiled down at me, I smiled back. We both wore a small blush, reminiscing in the late night cuddles and movies, staying up for hours, and just being with each other. That sort of happiness is almost addictive, but that's ok with me. As long as I'm with Gee, I'm happy.
We walked down the street, hand in hand. No one paid us mind, that was good. If it wasn't the 21st century, people would likely be looking at us like we where aliens or something, being honest that would be kinda cool though. The thought brought a smile to my face, a smile that Gerard noticed.
"What's so amusing Frank?"
"I was think about something, like if it wasn't the 21st century people would be looking at us like we where aliens, and that would actually be cool." He laughed a bit at my weird thought before agreeing.
"Yeah, that would be cool, I might have to draw that..." Gee had that look in his eyes, the one he gets when he's been creatively inspired by something. This time, it was because of me. That thought gave me satisfaction, I'd made someone really special happy, that's good enough for me.
"I actually wanna see that now-" he sped up his pace a bit, unexpectedly.
"Then let's get home so I can draw it for you!" He had a smile on his face, I sped up my pace to match his.
15 minutes later, we were in his room and he was drawing us but aliens. His creative mind was really showing, it impressed me that he could come up with something so different on the spot. I kept silent where I sat behind him, watching his hand move across the paper.
Weirdly, it was probably the most interesting and satisfying thing I've ever done. Luckily for me, my presence didn't seem to distract him and he didn't make me move.
Mikey entered the room, looking at Gee for a moment, then smiling to himself. He left, then came back a few moments later with coffee for the three of us. He pulled out Gerard's desk chair, sat down, and just kinda watched us.
It took a while before Gerard even noticed his brother was there, he seemed a bit spooked when he did though.
"Mikey- how long have you been here?" Mikey smiled at his brother. "Long enough to know your in your own little bubble when it comes to art. You also have a bit of graphite on your face." Gee tried to wipe it off, it only made it worse. This sent us all into a short laughing fit.
"I know I just got back, but do you guys think that we could all get together with Ray tomorrow? I mean it's been like 2 weeks since any of us has seen him, he's probably worried about us. He had me in a call for a solid 3 hours earlier while you two lovebirds where gone." He smirked, Gee was the only one of the two of us who minded.
"Whatever, and yeah that actually sounds good. Me and Frank are going back to school tomorrow, so we can see if he's free then."
"Is Frank staying over again tonight?" Gee shook his head no. "I talked to mom when we got back, she's cool if we stay at Franks place since your going to be staying with Franks dad for a few days, until the weekend comes at least." Mikey nodded.
"Yeah, she told me about that. I'm suppose to go back to school Monday as long as everything is looking good, it'll be nice to get out of the neighborhood, finally." He shook his head and took a drink form his coffee mug.
"Thanks for the coffee by the way, didn't say it earlier cause I didn't want to disturb Gerard and his creativity." I offered a small smile, Mikey returned it.
"I noticed, Gee what are you drawing anyway?"
"Frank gave me an idea while we were on our way back, so I'm drawing alien versions of us right now." Mikey gave us this weird confused look, silently asking for an explanation.
"On the way back, we were holding hands and I was thinking, if it wasn't the 21st century, people would likely be looking at us like we were aliens or something, and we both agreed that would be kinda cool." I explained, as (silently) requested.
"Ah yes, the power of art can make anything pop into existence, no matter how weird it is. Not going to lie though, that would be kinda cool. Like I magazine UFOs flying around all the time, and aliens of all shapes and sizes just kinda walking around, that'd be cool."
Mikey expressed a similar creativity to Gerard's, except he was more vocally creative when it came to his ideas.
"Why not draw it then?" Mikey shook his head, almost choking on his coffee. "I can't draw to save my life, Frank, trust me. Gerard is the only one in this family that can actually do good art. We've all tried, he has far surpassed all of us."
"Aww, my Gee is amazing." I hugged him. "But he already knows that." Gerard blushed a bit at my random bit of flirting, but didn't object to it.
"You two are cute, your good for each other. I'll leave you two alone to whatever weird thing it is your doing, heh." He got up and left, closing the door behind him. A few moments after he did, the both of us started laughing for no good reason.
God, how I wish every day can be like this one.Song of the chapter: Planetary(GO) MCR
