CHAPTER 5

Nanon

"kompleto na ba tayo?" tanong P'Krist habang binibilang pa rin kami sa loob ng van.

we're now heading back, tapos na ang tatlong araw namin dito at uuwi na rin kami. tinignan ko silang lahat and noticed that P'Bright and P'Win weren't there kaya tinignan ko si P'Krist na tumingin din naman sa akin.

"P'Bright and P'Win weren't here yet" ani ko bago luminga ulit. tumango lang ito bago tumingin sa kung saan at syaka ngumiti sa akin, "nauna na sila. they have a date kaya nauna" aniya na tinanguan ko nalang.

nang ayos na ang lahat umandar na rin kami. all of us were chatting of each other, salita dito salita doon. batuhan ng mga old jokes and of course the sing along with radio.

nasa akin ngayon ang kwento at bida-bida tong katabi kong sa Ohm, "Nanon will surely have a boy friend at this month, pusta ko koste ko."

all of them makes a noise of agreement hanggang sa isa-isa na silang nag bigayan ng bet. I know that it was just a joke but somehow I want to punch them one by one. alam kong alam nilang lahat na may gusto ako kay Chimon and they all want me to do dumb shit na makakasakit kay Chimon, honestly the worst.

mga inilingan ko nalang ito until I heard P'Sing sang, "kinukulayan ang isipan, pabalik sa nakaraan, si Nanon ay nautusan na ligawan kanyang hinahangaan" he singsong it and it shocks us how it fits the song.

I pout at them at tinawanan lang nila ako.  hindi man ako ang baby dito, pwes ako dapat. then sumabay na si Ohm, pero it was a different kind of song though.

"baby you're that I want, when you lying here in my arms. I find it— it hard to believe, you're a tsundere" and again, it shocks us how the words really fit the song.

sinapak ko ito sa braso ngunit ngumiti lang ito bago ako taasan ng kilay at kumantang muli, "kung sya ay gusto mo, kumilos ka,  ha ha! kung sya ay gusto mo, kumilos ka, ha ha! kung sya ay gusto mo kumilos-kilos kana kasi baka maunahan ka pa nang iba, ha ha!" saad nito at lahat sila nag tawanan, tumawa nalang din ako nang bahagya para hindi nila mahalata na it hits me hard

there was this guy na laging kasama ni Chimon, he always posted it at his facebook and they both were been flirty at the comments section. I did not meddling because after all, hindi pa rin namin kilala ang isa't-isa, curious lang ako because he looks like a nice guy.

tinignan ko ang cellphone ko to see what time it is when Ohm suddenly lean his head on top of my shoulder. I just let him in kasi natural na 'to, kahit ano namang tulak ko sa ulo nito ipipilit niya pa rin that's why I just let him do anything.

"stop staring at your phone, call him" P'Gun said as he look at me in the rear mirror.

now they all are look at me and waiting to call him, I don't know what comes to me, all I know is I dialed his phone number and waited patiently for him to answer my call.

a seconds passes by before he answered it,  "h-hello?" utal na sabi nito sa kabilang linya which made me soft.

ang whipped ko sa lalaking 'to. nakakainis.

"i-loud speaker mo, " Ohm whispered to me bago ulit niya ipikit ang mata niya. I look around me and saw all of them were staring, kahit si P'Off na nag d-drive, panay tingin sa rear mirror kaya wala akong nagawa kundi ang ilagay ito sa speaker mode.

mag sasalita na sana ako when he cleared his voice before speaking, "kung wala ka namang balak mag salita, stop calling me you punk!"

they all now holding their laughs so Chimon couldn't hear them. I glared at them madly and they give me a peace sign, saying sorry.

"hello?" patanong na sabi ko rito. tinignan ko yung katabi ko and he was just smiling like an idiot that he is. hindi ko na ito pinansin pa at tumingin sa labas ng bintana at nag iisip ng pwede pang masabi.

"what do you want?" tanong nito sa akin na kinabigla ko.

I didn't expect him to ask like that. I mean, I am expecting him just to end the call and block my number but he didn't, which makes me feel relief at the same time.

tinignan ko ulit sila and they all mouthing, 'you' na kinaputla ko. I'm not a romantic cheesy guy and it makes me cringe like hell.

ano ba 'tong mga pinag-gagawa nila sa akin, they all turning me into cheesy one, at hindi ko gusto yun.

pero dahil masunurin ako, I blurted it out.

"you."

I deadpan the whole seconds when he also became quiet. at dahil sa kahihiyan na nangyari siniko ko si Ohm that made him hiss.

serves you right.

"pardon?"

I look at them and they all telling me na umamin but I just shook my head and just allow my self to be a normal person who likes people, kaya inayos ko ang boses ko before I speak.

"will you introduce your self first?" iritang tanong nito

"it's Nanon. you may not know me but I assure you that you heard my name. Nanon Napawat."

"then, Nanon, what do you want from me?"

"nothing's particular but do you mind to have dinner with me later?"

isa. dalawa. tatlo... lima. anim... sam—

almost 10 seconds itong natahimik bago muling mag salita, "why do you want me to have a dinner with you? give me a valid reason para pumayag ako." demand nito na kinangiti ko.

Chimon is the guy who have a lot of time but spent it with himself. he doesn't like wasting anytime to other people other than his friends and himself, and this is one of the reason why I find this man so cute.

plus, he's well known as the cold hearted who doesn't care about people, that's what they said. pero to my point of view, he wasn't like that, or any of their thoughts. he just can't express his feelings pretty well, he's having a crisis when he need to show emotions kaya nasasabing cold hearted siya when he's not.

why did I say this? I once witness him whining to his friends about something. he even cried that day then when his friends comforts him with food he became happy na hindi ko inakalang sobrang ganda pag masdan.

his smile is contagious. nakaka-inlove. and I want to receive that smile, pero feeling ko baka mamatay ako, ang cute niya kasi ngumiti yawa.

"I want to know you." saad ko nang matagalan ako sa pag reply sa kaniya.

narinig ko itong huminga nang malalim bago mag salita, "text me the location and the time." at ibinaba na nito ang tawag.

nang matapos na ito, tumingin ako sa mga matang nakatingin sa akin kanina pa at nakita kong lahat sila naka ngiti na sobrang proud.

huli kong tinignan si Ohm and there's something sa ngiti niya na I can't point it out, mali lang siguro pag kakabasa ko sa kaniya.

"what?" tanong nito nang mapansing nakatitig pa rin ako sa kaniya.

nginitian ko ito,  "fuck you" biglaang mura ko habang nakangiti pa rin.

the look on his face makes me regret what I've said, dapat talaga nanahimik nalang ako, "I can't fuck my self, would you mind to help me?"

binatukan ko ito bago murahin. kahit kailan bastos talaga bibig nitong gagong 'to.

"shut up!"
